Jose Castillo’s 2/15/09 WDW Photo Report
After a few days of delay, Jose Castillo has finally provided us with pictures from the last day of his latest trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. Let’s take a look at some of his pics from Monday:

The balloon window-clings have now reached the Walt Disney World buses

“Follow that bus to the best kept Disney secret!!!”

With the scaffolding all down around the Bay Lake Tower, we can start to get used to this view now

Welcome to the Magic Kingdom

The “Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It!” Street Party making its exit on Main Street U.S.A.

Dream Along with Mickey is still performing for the time being

This is the only place you can still catch the characters in the “dream” outfits

I hope this show stays for a while, one of my personal favorite stage shows

The exterior refurbishment of the Hall of Presidents continues

The tarps engulfing the building are quite a sight

Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn & Cafe is closed until February 21st

While it has been closed, the new Golden Oak Outpost has been very busy

Let’s all take a moment to be thankful for our very nice version of “It’s a Small World”

“Look mom, no characters!!!”

A Cast Member at the Tomorrowland Speedway trying to fix a broken piece of track

This problem closed the attraction for a good 15 minutes

I guess it’s not easy “raising the bar” (really corny joke)

“We’re going to need some backup…”

Construction of the stage for “Stitch’s Supersonic Celebration” continues in Tomorrowland

This show is scheduled to debut Spring 2009

The mystery structure across from the stage is continuing to grow

The Galaxy Palace Theater is long gone now, some new plants have appeared at the former entrance

Work is far from done on this area, which is currently slated to become character meet and greets

The Tomorrowland restrooms between Auntie Gravity’s and Mickey’s Star Traders have been completely ripped apart. Don’t expect them to re-open anytime soon.
Thanks for the photos Jose!!!
