Jose Eber’s 4/1/09 No Fool’s Downtown Disney Report
WDWNT Reporter Jose Eber spent the early part of April Fool’s Day 2009 at the Downtown Disney District to provide us with an update on some of the area’s latest offerings. Here is the joke free report:
The “Characters in Flight” balloon operated by Aerophile will now open around April 10th
This board provides the hours of operation, prices, and the flying conditions for the balloon. Wind speeds and climate will determine how many can board at a time and how high the balloon will fly
Work continues on the “Paradiso 37” restaurant coming spring 2009 to Pleasure Island
The color scheme and entrance area are coming along nicely
Expect this restaurant to open very late in the spring, if not early summer 2009
The McDonald’s in the Marketplace has added a McCafe portion, like many of the McDonald’s restaurants around the country
The World of Disney store is attempting to raise slumping sales by offering a free personal shopper service for a limited time
