Conner Purzycki’s 6/29-7/1/09 Photo Report

For our first photo report in over a week (probably a record for us), we go to Conner Purzycki’s 3 day trip to the Disneyland Resort:

Main Street is all decked out for the July 4th holiday weekend

The Monorail awning by the Tomorrowland Terrace has been replaced

It’s now a much shinier, and nicer awning

As of today, the Plaza Pavilion is the new Annual Passport Processing Center, as the Bank of Main Street will soon begin its transformation into the new Disney Gallery

Snow White’s Scary Adventures is still closed for its refurbishment

The new Astro Orbitor control panel

And its nice new covering

The Cosmic Waves area has re-opened with seating and trees. The trees look a little odd and out-of-place

What appears to be burn marks on the Mark Twain from the small fire last week

The Mark Twain is back in service after the little mishap

It’s also back in use during Fantasmic

The fountains over by King Triton’s Carousel weren’t working. What a surprise…

It’s almost time to peel the orange!

An overhead view of the new Disney Vacation Club add-on to the Grand Californian Hotel

And from the ground. It’s much more visible here now seeing as Dinosaur Jack has been bulldozed

The mysterious track installed in the Paradise Pier lagoon for World of Color is for wiring

New rock-work on the pillars

Various construction as seen from the Golden Zephyr

World of Color construction from the other side of lagoon

The control booth for the show looks to be done, on the outside at least

Look, there’s someone in there!

The nice new seating area in Golden State Park has been taken over by the coffee cart 🙁

The new location of Cocina Cucamonga is now open

Which obviously means the old location is closed

The work in the Grand Californian lobby is done

Blank Vinylmation pieces on sale at the World of Disney, presumably for you to decorate yourself

Thanks for the report Conner!
