Conner Purzycki’s 9/24/10 – 9/26/10 DLR Photo Report

I was at the Disneyland Resort this past weekend for D23’s Great Scavenger hunt, but also captured many newsworthy photos. This is a long one so get comfortable and get scrolling…

Starting off at DCA, the entrance is getting ready for it’s complete overhaul

I am kind of sad to see these murals go

Moving on, ElecTRONica is set up in Sunshine Plaza

More on that later

Over in Paradise Pier, Little Mermaid is progressing

The aquarium’s signature arch will be magnificent

The play fountain was turned off today

Maliboomer is covered with scaffolding and tarps

Divers in the water

Another crane in DCA to deconstruct the Maliboomer

Eww….

Now for a spin on the Golden Zephyr

Not much happening here yet

Or here

Moving on, PT Fleas has been moved to the Paradise Garden Grill dining area

To get some better angles, took a painful ride on Mullholand Madness.

The foundation awaiting it’s building

Walking on

New temporary Parade Gate

This will be interesting to see come down

New World of Color hats!!!

Toy Story still closed untill 10/10/10

You could hear them sending vehicles through the attraction

Whats This?!?!?

Could the White by day, blue by night coaster be turning completely blue???

Not much changing on this side of Cars Land

One more look at the Blue support beams

Catch a Flave recently re-opened as Paradise Pier Ice Cream Co.

Vehicles are back on Main Street after a short refurbishment

Over in Frontierland, the beloved Halloween tree is back

So is the Day of the Dead display

An ODV cart has been parked in the main queue area, smart thinking

Not much has changed this year besides new green lighting in the loading area

and new shirts

Next door in Innoventions, WDI is playtesting a new interactive character technology. Unfortunately, both times I went to see it, it was unavailable.

Moving on, THE SEAGULLS ARE BACK!!!

In Fantasyland, Part of the Village Haus building came out from behind tarps

Most of it is still covered

The Dapper Dans in their Halloween Garb

While walking through the esplanade, noticed some commotion by bag check

Apparently, people were handing out “Disney is Unfaithful” Balloons

TDA quickly came out and offered to trade unfaithful balloons for mickey shaped ones  for free

Went for a stroll around the resort, and caught some different angles of Cars Land

Rock work clearly visible

Soon to be a 3rd gate…
