Disney Magical World 2 is coming out sooner than expected. During Nintendo’s recent Direct, the date for Magical World 2 was moved up to October 14, so you’ll be able to play it in just a few short weeks.
Also announced, players that choose to pre-order the game (both digitally and physically) will receive some bonus outfits. Olaf, Anna, and Elsa costumes will be rewarded to those that pre-order the game, and pre-orders are already being accepted. Check out the picture below to get a glimpse of the costumes.
At the end of the announcement, Nintendo mentioned that new Disney themes would be making their way to the Nintendo 3DS eShop.
It looks like there’s some fun and new Disney related content on the way for Nintendo 3DS owners, which will be a nice break from all the mobile content.
While walking through the ImageWorks at the exit of Journey Into Imagination with Figment at Epcot last night, the floor felt a little strange. It felt as if the tiles were lifting off of the ground as I stepped on them. Then I looked down…
We found entire sections of tile had to be taped down because most of them are loose and popping up. Now, if it were one section, I could understand that, but it was taped down in several areas.
F is probably the grade I would give this pavilion
Again, several areas featured tape of various colors being used to hold the floor together at this point. ImageWorks is now literally falling apart, even beyond the mostly-broken hands-on exhibits inside.
Given how die hard our audience is, I probably need not explain why this is such “bad show”. Hopefully it will be addressed soon, preferably before all of the tile in the ImageWorks has tape between it.

Our latest trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios takes us from exciting new merchandise, to the thrill of speedy demolition throughout the Backlot section of the park to make way for Star Wars and Toy Story Land. But first, let’s start with something weird…
In The Year 2016…
Prepaid phone cards and Sim cards still exist at Walt Disney World, in rarely found dispensers near park entrances.
Nothing pictured on the phone cards is still actually featured at Walt Disney World.
Zika Prevention Kiosks
Mosquito repellent stations can be found throughout Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

For several weeks now, we have been updating you on the painting of the entrance to Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom. The rock-work in the front of the land is now about halfway done as the entire left side has already received the new shiny, metallic look.
The other side has only been primed for the new paint scheme as of yet.
We also have a short video of the area:
So, what do you think of this new look for Tomorrowland?
An all-new Sally figure has been added to the graveyard scene, as seen above. Also new this year …
This year’s all-new gingerbread house – a Haunted Mansion Holiday tradition – and today guests will be able to see this monstrous masterpiece for themselves!
Artwork for this year’s event merchandise was created by Disney Design Group. Drawing on the success of previous festivals, the team created new designs for popular merchandise programs such as “Brews Around the World,” and a character program featuring Figment.
Guests will also find new art for the “Taste Your Way Around the World” program that incorporates nods to the early days of Epcot. Disney Design Group artist Richard Terpstra incorporated vintage iconography and symbols from Epcot into several of his designs.
In addition to items shown in the video, there will have apparel, hats, drinkware, accessories, dinnerware, magnets and much more. Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak will also return for another year.
Pandora is releasing a special Chef Mickey charm during the event this year.
More of the now-infamous ceramic trash can salt and pepper shakers will be available.
Figment pot holder
A collection of Dooney & Bourke bags made especially for the event will be released as well.
A new mobile game called Moana Island Life is coming to iOS and Android in the near future, and for those living in Canada the game is out now.
The game appeared on the Canada iTunes store yesterday and has been available for download since. It is not uncommon for apps to release in the Canadian market first. Usually this is the publishers way of testing the game, whether it be for player feedback or bug testing. Disney has yet to officially announce a release date for other markets, but it is safe to assume the game will be out before the movie hits theaters this Thanksgiving.
The game seems to be another kingdom builder, but with a stronger emphasis on exploration and resource mining. Players can grow and harvest crops, trade with villagers, complete quests, and explore new worlds by setting sail throughout Oceania.
Stay tuned for any updates regarding the release of Moana Island Life.
Downtown Disney Anaheim, located at the Disneyland Resort, will be discontinuing valet service on September 10th, 2016.
Disney is not giving any reason for the change, although it is likely related the the expansion of the resort, including a new resort hotel being constructed nearby. The space is rumored to be home to a new parking structure shared by the hotel and Downtown Disney.
Clear up some storage on your phone because Disney has just released another mobile game. Disney Enchanted Tales is a new free-to-play game available now for iOS and Android that let’s players create their own unique kingdoms.
The game features stories, worlds, and characters from Beauty and the Beast, Tangled, and Frozen. Essentially players choose one story at the beginning of their journey and once the tale has been competed, they can move on to the next one. Throughout the game, players will encounter characters such as Belle, Gaston, Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Anna, Prince Hans, and more. As players complete quests, their kingdoms will expand and make room for new landmarks such as Beast’s Castle or Rapunzel’s Tower.
In standard mobile game fashion, Disney Enchanted Tales offers in-app purchases that will provide players with in-game currency that can be used in a number of ways. Disney Enchanted Tales shares similarities with the recent Disney Magic Kingdoms released back in March. The basic mechanics are the same, only now players can experience more fleshed out stories and build lands specifically themed to Beauty and the Beast, Tangled, and Frozen. Over time, the game will be updated with additional characters, items, and landmarks.
Disney Enchanted Tales is out now on the App Store and Google Play.
