Also, Rex from Star Tours will be in Star Wars land as the DJ at the Cantina.

Bob Chapek has just confirmed that Epcot will be getting a major overhaul. Tom Fitzgerald took the stage to say that the Ratatouille attraction from Disneyland Paris will be coming to the France pavilion at Epcot, as we told you last month.

Confirming news that we first brought to you back in June of 2016, Chapek announced the new E-Ticket attraction based on Guardians of the Galaxy will be coming to Future World in the Universe of Energy pavilion. As a relief to Epcot fans, we see from the concept art that the existing show building will remain intact.

Square Enix announced at the D23 Expo that the long-awaited Kingdom Hearts III will release in 2018. Not only that, but the game will include a world set in the Toy Story universe.
In the trailer below Sora, Donald, and Goofy have been shrunk down and made to look like toys. It’s cool, it’s weird, it’s about what you’d expect from a Square Enix game.
For now we only have this tentative 2018 date, though this is quite an exciting piece of information as fans have been waiting years for a proper release date announcement.
Square originally announced Kingdom Hearts III in 2013, and the company has a rich history of delaying games often and extensively. 2018 seems reasonable, but don’t be surprised if come next year the date slips again, especially since we don’t even have a specific release time within the 2018 calendar year to mark this game down for.
Kingdom Hearts III will be available on PS4 and Xbox One when it releases in 2018.
Lucasfilm has released some new character posters for Luke, Rey, Finn and General Leia Organa from “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”. So what is going on with the red theme? Seems like dark times are eminent for our heroes.

Today at the D23 Expo, it was confirmed at the Walt Disney Studios Live Action Films Panel that Will Smith (“After Earth”) will indeed be playing The Genie in Guy Ritchie’s upcoming live action version of the classic Disney animated hit “Aladdin”. Smith will also be joined by Mena Massoud (“Open Heart”) as Aladdin and Naomi Scott (“Power Rangers”) will play Jasmine.
NEW CONTENT OF EMILY BLUNT AS THE PRACTICALLY-PERFECT NANNY FROM DISNEY’S UPCOMING “MARY POPPINS RETURNS” NOW AVAILABLE
Disney has released a special image-in-motion of Emily Blunt as Mary Poppins from Disney’s original musical “Mary Poppins Returns,” an all-new sequel to the 1964 “Mary Poppins” which features a fresh sensibility while celebrating the spirit of the original. The moving image features the practically-perfect nanny in a cobalt blue nanny coat and red hat with her iconic parrot head umbrella in hand.

Blunt took to the stage at the D23 Expo in Anaheim this morning, joining director/producer Rob Marshall to talk about the eagerly-anticipated return of the enigmatic nanny, where Blunt offered insight as to how she made the character her own. “I needed to try to pay homage to Julie Andrews but carve out a new space for myself. And we were very loyal to the books,” said Blunt. Marshall shared, “I was incredibly honored to be approached by Disney about directing a sequel. This is a brand new original film musical from top to bottom, which is very rare, and it is a wonderful opportunity to create something specifically for the screen.”
Production is underway for the live-action reimagining of Disney’s 1941 animated classic “Dumbo.” Directed by visionary filmmaker Tim Burton (“Alice in Wonderland,” “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”), the film stars Golden Globe® winner Colin Farrell (“In Bruges,” “The Lobster”), Golden Globe winner Michael Keaton (“Birdman,” “Beetlejuice”), Emmy® and Golden Globe winner Danny DeVito (“Batman Returns,” “Big Fish”), BAFTA Award winner and Golden Globe nominee Eva Green (“Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children,” “Dark Shadows”), and introduces Nico Parker and Finley Hobbins in their first film roles. Disney’s new live-action feature film “Dumbo” introduces Holt Farrier (Farrell), a former circus star who finds his life turned upside down when he returns from the war. Circus owner Max Medici (DeVito) enlists Holt to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus. But when Holt’s children (Parker and Hobbins) discover that Dumbo can fly, persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Keaton) and an aerial artist named Colette Marchant (Green) swoop in to make the peculiar pachyderm a star.
Walt Disney’s classic animated tale “Dumbo,” which opened Oct. 23, 1941, won an Oscar® for best scoring of a musical picture and was nominated for best original song for “Baby Mine.”

Today at the D23 Expo, Disney released the first teaser trailer for their upcoming film, “A Wrinkle In Time”, which is based on the classic novel written by Madeleine L’Engle.

The film, which is an epic adventure based on Madeleine L’Engle’s timeless classic which takes audiences across dimensions of time and space, examining the nature of darkness versus light and ultimately, the triumph of love.
Directed by Ava DuVernay from a screenplay by Jennifer Lee based upon the beloved novel by Madeleine L’Engle, “A Wrinkle in Time” is produced by Jim Whitaker and Catherine Hand with Doug Merrifield serving as executive producer. The highly anticipated new animated series “Marvel’s Spider-Man” will debut with a one-hour premiere on SATURDAY, AUGUST 19 (7:00-8:00 a.m. EDT), on Disney XD, and on the Disney XD App and VOD (12:01 a.m. EDT), it was announced today by Cort Lane, senior vice president, Animation & Family Entertainment, and Joe Quesada, Marvel’s chief creative officer, during the Marvel Animation panel at D23 Expo in Anaheim. ‘Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout’ Returning for a Third Season on Disney XD
Series stars Will Friedle (“Boy Meets World”), Trevor Devall (“Johnny Test”), Vanessa Marshall (“Star Wars Rebels”), David Sobolov (“Transformers: Prime”) and Kevin Michael Richardson (“The Cleveland Show”), along with Lane and Quesada, announced that the Guardians will return for a brand-new third season on Disney XD titled “Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout.” The third season will find the Guardians gaining fame and fortune, but quickly knocked back on their heels after being framed by the Collector. The Guardians will travel to new universes, stage a massive sting operation inside the Nova Corps, and expose a Secret Invasion years in the making. A little bad and a little good – all in a day’s work.
The LEGO Group and Marvel will team up once again for an all-new 22-minute animated special “LEGO® Marvel Super Heroes – Guardians of the Galaxy: The Thanos Threat.” When Thanos, Ronan, Nebula and the Ravagers seek to possess the Build Stone – a powerful and creative relic – the fate of the universe depends on the Guardians of the Galaxy to protect it.
