Conner Purzycki’s 9/11/09 Disneyland Park Photo Report
While the rest of the WDWNT gang was at the D23 Expo, Conner Purzycki went to check out the amazingly low crowds at Disneyland, and he reports back to us with these photos:

You can see here just how empty the park was

Repaving at the entrance to Tomorrowland

There were also walls up to repave in front of the Plaza Inn restrooms

Seems like an odd place to have fruit growing

Where is everybody!?

Honey, I Shrunk the Audience was closed Tuesday through Thursday last week to install equipment for a private management screening of Captain EO, to see if the show might return this January

This sign still used the old Tomorrowland 1998 logo

This area of Tomorrowland was like a ghost town with both Honey, I Shrunk the Audience and Space Mountain closed

You could still get as far back as the restrooms, if you went through the Starcade

Blocking the Space Mountain exit

And the Honey, I Shrunk the Audience exit

Some work being done at the entrance to Frontierland

The Haunted Mansion closed the day before Conner visited, to install Haunted Mansion Holiday

Fastpass will be operational during Haunted Mansion Holiday only

Some work being done at the entrance to the French Market. The restaurant remained open however

Royal Street Veranda was closed

Also still closed, the Enchanted Cottage at the Princess Fantasy Faire

Construction on the new, permanent turkey leg stand, Edelweiss Snacks

Casey Jr. and Storybook Land are closed for lengthy refurbishments

The mini-Castle is still visible over the construction walls

Pretty big crowds for “Celebrate! A Street Party” for a quiet day

I spy Tony Baxter!

He was taking the voice of Princess Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, Mary Costa, on a tour through the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough

Conner got a brief chance to talk with Mr. Baxter
Thanks for your report Conner!
