Cancelled Beauty and the Beast Disney Infinity Figures Revealed

Once again, thanks to Infiniteer Adventures, we have new concept art for some more unreleased characters for the cancelled Disney Infinity 3.0.

This time we have Belle and Beast, who’s designs are inspired by the upcoming live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast. As you can see in the video and pictures below, Belle’s figure holds a striking resemblance to Emma Watson, who will be portraying Belle in the new film.

As with most Disney Infinity figures, these probably would have released around the same time the movie hit theaters, so March 2017 in this case.

Just like the many other unreleased figures we’ve seen over the months, it is a shame that we won’t ever get our hands on these. The designs look fantastic.

Disney Infinity 3.0: Gold Edition Coming to PC

It appears that a deluxe edition of Disney Infinity 3.0 is coming to Steam, but there’s a catch.

According to a recent update on the Steam Store, all users who purchased any DLC for the game before September 30 will be eligible to receive a Gold Edition of Disney Infinity 3.0 for free, when it releases later this year.

As of September 30, 2016, Disney Infinity 3.0 will remain playable but will temporarily be unavailable for new downloads. DLC purchases from the Steam storefront and in-game will also be unavailable.

If you have made any DLC purchases for Disney Infinity 3.0 (from the Steam storefront or in-game), you will be eligible to receive a free Gold Edition of Disney Infinity 3.0 later this year. The Disney Infinity 3.0 Gold Edition will allow you to enjoy all Disney Infinity 3.0 Playsets, characters, and Power Discs at no additional cost.

Please note that Gold Edition will also include necessary changes to Online Features, which will allow you to continue to play through your adventures once Disney Infinity Servers have been shut down.

For a limited time, you will be able to transfer your Disney Infinity 3.0 save progression to the new Gold Edition to ensure all your Play Set and Toy Box progress is not lost.

No word on whether or not this version of the game will ever be available for purchase, but it is great to see PC players of the game get some love, after they were nearly shut out of all DLC and future figure releases earlier in the year.

As of now, the Gold Edition is only planned for the PC Steam version, though maybe one day we will see it come to consoles.

Disney Emoji Blitz Celebrates Halloween with Hatbox Ghost and Brings Stickers to iOS

Disney’s popular match-three app, Disney Emoji Blitz is getting a Halloween update that features more than just some spooky new theming.

i-wxdq8v7-x2

Starting now, players with iOS 10 devices can use their unlicked emojis as stickers in iMessage. Instructions for turning this feature on can be found in the game’s menu, and it makes using the emojis in texts a lot easier than having a separate keyboard.

In the spirit of Halloween, a handful of new characters and items are being added to the game. Famous park icons like The Matterhorn’s Abominable Snowman, or The Haunted Mansion’s Hatbox Ghost join the game’s roster of over 600 emojis. Halloween-themed items include candy corn, and a Mickey jack-o’lantern. In total, there are now over 60 new Halloween related items to unlock.

Additionally, players can now vote for which emoji they would like to have added to the game. A poll being run by Oh My Disney is now up, and fans have until October 23 to get their votes in. If you don’t like any of the 15 voting options available, you can submit your suggestion in the comments section (tell them you want Ratatouille).

Disney Emoji Blitz is available on the App Store and Google Play Store.

“Frozen Free Fall: Icy Shot” Takes Puzzle Games in a New Direction

A sequel to the hit mobile game Frozen Free Fall just released on mobile devices and it’s free to download.
