Not only that, but Vanity Fair reveals “The Secrets Of The Marvel Universe”  as well as additional photos of every hero that will appear in “Avengers: Infinity War is a very special cover story. Check out the cover story and additional images right here.

It seems like the first trailer where we see all of the Avengers assemble to take on Thanos is imminent. I’d say The Force is strong with this one. Note: Actually The Russo Brothers are hinting that the trailer may come sooner than that by posting the number “3” on their Twitter account. What could the “3” mean?

GLOBAL BOX OFFICE HIT “BEAUTY AND THE BEAST” TO BE RERELEASED IN THEATERS IN NEW YORK AND LOS ANGELES FOR EXCLUSIVE ONE-WEEK ENGAGEMENT BEGINNING DECEMBER 1

Fans of Disney’s live-action adaptation “Beauty and the Beast” will be able to view the stunning, cinematic event celebrating one of the most beloved tales ever told once again when the film is rereleased on December 1 at the AMC Century City in Los Angeles and AMC Empire 25 in New York.

The film, which has grossed more than $1 billion worldwide at the box office, will screen at the two theaters for an exclusive one-week engagement. Members of AMPAS, BAFTA, ACE, ADG, ASC, CAS, DGA, HFPA, MPEG, MPSE, PGA, WGA, CDG and VES will be admitted with a guest to screenings at both theaters with valid membership card. The film was released domestically on March 16 of this year and quickly became the highest grossing film domestically and internationally, and the biggest live-action movie musical of all time.

In his review of the film, A.O. Scott from THE NEW YORK TIMES said the film, “revels in joy and enchantment.  Its classicism feels unforced and fresh, its romance neither winks nor panders.  I almost didn’t recognize the flavor: I think the name for it is joy.”

Mick La Salle from THE SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE said, “’Beauty and the Beast’ has the feeling of old-fashioned Hollywood grandeur. It’s a beautiful movie, both in look and spirit, one of the joys of 2017” and Brian Truitt from USA TODAY said, “Rousing new ‘Beauty and the Beast’ is even better than the original.”

Directed by Bill Condon and based on the 1991 animated film, “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a Beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart of the true Prince within. The film stars: Emma Watson as Belle; Dan Stevens as the Beast; Luke Evans as Gaston, the handsome, but shallow villager who woos Belle; Kevin Kline as Maurice, Belle’s father; Josh Gad as LeFou, Gaston’s long-suffering aide-de-camp; Ewan McGregor as Lumière, the candelabra; Stanley Tucci as Maestro Cadenza, the harpsichord; Audra McDonald as Madame de Garderobe, the wardrobe; Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette, the feather duster; Hattie Morahan as the enchantress; with Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, the mantel clock; and Emma Thompson as the teapot, Mrs. Potts.

“Beauty and the Beast” is written by Stephen Chbosky and Evan Spiliotopoulos and produced by Mandeville Films’ David Hoberman, p.g.a. and Todd Lieberman, p.g.a. with Jeffrey Silver, Thomas Schumacher and Don Hahn serving as executive producers. Alan Menken, who won two Academy Awards® (Best Original Score and Best Song) for the animated film, provides the score, which includes new recordings of the original songs written by Menken and Howard Ashman, as well as three new songs written by Menken and Tim Rice.

Disney & Fox Are Meeting “Again” To Discuss The Possible Acquisition Of Fox By Disney

 width=

We recently reported that Fox had met with Disney looking to strike a deal that would have Disney potentially acquire Fox. Nothing official was announced by either side, but it sounded from various sources that both sides could not reach an agreement and any kind of deal was off.

It was kind of disappointing to hear that those talks broke down, but now according to Deadline, those talks have started up again and it sounds like it is possible that we may hear some good news very soon. It still sounds like if both parties come to an agreement, Disney would get the film and TV Studios, and Fox would still retain the sports and news properties.

From Deadline columnist, Mark Fleming Jr.:

FLEMING: I just want to start with a juicy rumor that is fast gaining steam in town today, that Disney is progressing speedily toward that rumored acquisition of Fox. The version I heard has the Murdoch clan keeping possession of sports and news properties, and the rest of TV and the film studio going to Disney. Radio silence right now from both studios, and given how Disney made the Marvel and Lucasfilm deals under the cone of silence, if this happens we’ll probably only know it when it’s announced.

I have provided a link to the article, but to be honest, the Deadline article mostly discusses how the recent sexual harassment charges could possibly affect the movies that both studios own and whether those involved should be stricken from the history of both, and other, companies.

It seems that most analysis feel that Disney’s acquisition of Fox would make sense and benefit both companies. Other major companies, such as Comcast and Verizon, have also shown interest in acquiring Fox. But I think it’s a good sign that Fox seemed to have reached out to Disney and that they are meeting again.

We will keep you up to date if any news breaks regarding Disney’s acquisition of Fox, but until then, we will be waiting for Disney or Fox, or even another company, makes an official announcement.

Google Maps Found the Millennium Falcon Hiding at a Production Studio Near London

Disney has been rather secretive about the production of Star Wars movies, but thanks to Google Maps the hidden Millennium Falcon has been discovered.

Kevin Beaumont discovered the Falcon near film and television production studios, Longcross Studios, just 25 miles west of London. The Millennium Falcon was surrounded by large shipping containers in an attempt to hide it, but Google Maps seems to have unintentionally foiled this plan.

Knowing that 2015’s The Force Awakens was filmed at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, the Millennium Falcon was probably here at Longcross Studios for the filming of the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Generally Google Maps satellite images used for street view range from one to three years old, so discovering the Millennium Falcon on in this case is quite a convenient circumstance.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi releases in theaters on December 15.

Shuttered Pirates of the Caribbean MMO Lives on in Fan-Made ‘The Legend of the Pirates Online’

Pirates of the Caribbean Online shut down for good back in 2013, but thanks to a passionate team of fans, the game now lives on in the form of The Legend of Pirates Online.

This recreation of Disney’s now defunct massively multiplayer online game is nearly a hundred percent faithful to the old one, which originally launched in 2007. People who grew up on Disney Channel during the era of The Sweet Life of Zack & Cody might remember Disney pushing this game like crazy during commercial breaks.

 width=

This name generator…

Pirates of the Caribbean Online was essentially like World of Warcraft, but for younger audiences and with a popular Disney IP attached. It’s honestly a pretty competent free MMO, and despite looking like a PS2 reject, the gameplay holds up pretty well.

 width=

That’s right, dog! How does it feel to be on the other side of the prison cell?

Like all things Disney and video games related, it’s life was short lived (RIP Disney Infinity) but it’s really cool that people can now go back and indulge in some mid-2000s Disney nostalgia. Remember when there was a High School Musical daytime parade at Disney-MGM Studios?

 width=

The game doesn’t run perfectly. It’s technically in beta at the moment, and there’s a much smaller team working to keep this thing up and running compared to when the old game was around. I had a little trouble staying connected at first, as the game would occasionally crash during ship battles, but it’s definitely worth downloading and giving a try. The game is constantly being worked on, so updates are on the way.

Here is a link to the game’s website if you’re interested in giving it a try. It’s available for Windows and Mac.

Disney•Pixar has just released the first teaser trailer for “Incredibles 2”.

And check out the first teaser poster for “Incredibles 2”:

Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transistion for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.
