By many counts, it is possible not everyone in line will get a Rescue Ranger Vinylmation that was released today.

Announced today were two exclusive vinylmation for San Fransisco. Both will be released on June 26th (the same day as the 3″ Hey Taxi in NYC). Both will also be exclusives to the Stockton Street Disney Store.
First up, another Tinned 3″. Woohoo! This time it’s a cable car. It looks awesome. I must have it! This figure is designed by Dan Beltran (most recently from the Cutesters Like You set).
The other one is a beautiful 9″ figure by Gerald Mendez. It will show the Golden Gate Bridge at night in the front, and then on the back is the bridge during the day! It is glorious. There will only be 1540 of these. Get them while you can. Only at the Stockton Street Disney Store in San Francisco.
Today, while as we discovered the London exclusives, Disney announced several new “location” themed exclusives. The first is a 3″ version of “Hey Taxi!”
It will be released exclusively at the Times Square Disney Store in NYC on June 26th. The design is by Jim Valeri, who also designed the original 9″ figure. And the second best part- It comes in a tin! Oh tin, I’ve missed you so, never leave us again!

Disney officially announced today that trading will start in Disney Stores on May 31st! They said that the experience will be “based on the experience in the parks”. So I guess that means there might be Clear boxes AND Mystery boxes?? There will be more info to come. Although I also expect several stores to start trading early based on previous experience.

 The first Thursday without a Big Bang Theory for the summer got us feeling down, so we tracked down a custom artist whose work caught our attention to ask him about his Big Bang Theory related custom project he’s recently completed. Straight from Ireland, here’s “themodelmaker”…
MC: What got you into art? MC: Very cool. What’s your artistic background, training/education? MC: How long have you been creating custom Vinyls? MC: How long have you worked with the Disney Vinylmation specifically? |

| MC: How many other custom pieces have you made? TMM: I’ve made about 30 customs on vinyl platforms, plus few more made from scratch. MC: What’s your favorite piece you’ve made? |

| MC: Do you collect the Vinylmation created by Disney artists? TMM: No I don’t. I can’t buy it here in Ireland, but even if I did I would probably repaint them because I am more interested in making things than buying stuff. If I will start collecting, I will limit it to one that are unique and handmade by other customizers, and not the mass printed designs. MC: What is your favorite Disney Vinylmation design? MC: How did you come up with the idea of the Sheldon piece? |

| MC: Can you describe this figure? The inspiration. What detail went into it? TMM: In one episode he came from Disneyworld with his Mickey ears on, that probably left the first mark in my brain, but I didn’t do anything more about it then. Later, I decided that I want to practice portrait painting and looked for the subject. I want my customs to show the things I like, so Big Bang was a must. I painted Sheldon and was happy with the results. Then I painted Wolowitz and was even happier, so I decided to finish the whole cast. Sheldon was quick, just two days. With this series I wanted to limit myself to painting only. That is why I didn’t add any noses or change anything in original figure. I only filled with filler few lines on vinylmation’s head and line of trousers and removed Mickeys buttons. |

Disney announced a slew of information today, and one of the big things was the information of several vinylmation being released on June 10th.
First up: Goof Troop will be available online only from the disneystore.com The artist is Chris Chapman and the set has a LE of 1000.
The 9″ Urban 6 Moai Statue by Casey Jones will be in D-Streets and Online. It’s by Casey Jones and has a LE of 800.
Also available in both D-Streets and online that day, the Angel Devil 9″/3″ Urban 6 set by Thomas Scott. There will be only 1000 of these.
