The original plan was to release the new line of Hasbro toys from “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” on “Force Friday”, which is September 4th at 12:01 am. Fortunately for us, the “Force Friday” catalog was leaked online and we have all of the images from the catalog available to view.

A new app, called Shop Disney Parks, is slated to be released in the coming weeks to help you in your quest to find elusive (and not-so-elusive) merchandise at Disney-operated stores across Walt Disney World. Shop Disney Parks will allow guests to search for a particular item, and the app will tell you where to find it at the parks and/or resorts, as well as an estimate of the quantity remaining at the location. Even though the line has not formally been launced yet, the new Pirates of the Caribbean merchandise has already started to arrive at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Here’s what is out so far:

The Galactic Gathering was held today at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which is basically an early shopping day for Star Wars Weekends 2015 which guests were able to buy tickets to attend. One of the most exciting merchandise programs coming to both Disneyland and Walt Disney World this year is called Twenty Eight & Main. This Disney Theme Park Merchandise exclusive collection of quality goods was designed for the “discerning gentleman” (Disney’s own words) who enjoys visiting Disney Parks.
“Twenty Eight & Main will be known for quality and attention to detail,” explained Bobby Bongiorno, merchandiser for graphic apparel. “We intend to use unique fabrics and washes for many items. We will also include embellishment techniques such as light weight embroidery, patches and appliqués to create items that will be functional and will fit great. The look will be classic, yet stylish and modern in every sense.”
The collection will contain apparel items such as short and long-sleeved shirts, vintage-style T-shirts, hats and more. There will also be accessories including drinkware, D-Tech phone cases and other travel items.
The artwork includes subtle nods to attractions, shops, shows, characters and experiences at Disney Parks.
The Arts & Collectibles team used some of the Twenty Eight & Main artwork at the small kiosk called The Sign Shop in the Marketplace Co-Op at Downtown Disney Marketplace.
So what’s the deal about the program’s name?
“The name was inspired by the year of Mickey Mouse’s debut and the timeless Main Street, U.S.A.” replied Bobby. “The lion reaching towards the star symbolizes Walt Disney’s pursuit of his dreams. The same lion can be found on the coat of arms featured on iconic Disney Park castles.”
Twenty Eight & Main will debut this fall in select merchandise locations at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts.

No cards on these, they seem like just props in the display case. Too bad, I was excited for a Rancor action figure.
New additions to the Disney Character Star Wars action figure lineup. The Pluto as R2 from a previous series bundled with a new hologram version of Minnie as Leia! There is also a Pete as Jango Fett. He was in a previous series as Boba Fett.
D-Tech Tie Fighter Pilot and Jedi versions are new this year.
The 2015 May the Fourth and Revenge of the Fifth pins have an LE 5000 edition size.

Box Set with 2nd Death Star Pin
It appears all the talk that Disney Infinity 3.0 will include a Star Wars theme, may be true after all. The German electronics website Saturn has posted (and has since pulled) a pre-order for the Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars starter set for the Nintendo Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles. And the best part… a release date of August 20th, 2015!
The photo that went with the listing shows what looks to be legitimate packaging for the starter set, along with a play set piece, infinity figures and game disc box. The look of this packaging, with a black theme, seems to compare to some leaked photos of Disney Infinity 3.0 Originals figures of Mickey, Minnie, Mulan and others last week.
This photo can be both exciting and polarizing for Star Wars fans as the figures are that of Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano from the prequel/Clone Wars era. The style of all the characters seems to have a Clone Wars animated series feel to it. Other notables seen on the box art include Obi-Wan, Princess Leia, C-3PO, R2-D2, Yoda and Vader. We can also see vehicles and mounts such as pod racers and a Tauntaun!

With Star Wars Celebration only being just a few days away, here is a first look at some exclusive T-shirts and hoodies that will be available for sale at the convention. Star Wars Celebration is the official annual Star Wars convention and will take place from April 16th – 19th at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Disney has announced that today will be the final day for the United World Soccer store on the West Side of Disney Springs/Downtown Disney. In May (just in time for “Avengers: Age of Ultron”), the space will re-open as “Super Hero Headquarters”.
According to Disney, the store will “feature popular superhero-themed merchandise”. No other details have been provided. Rumors have indicated that a Marvel store was coming to Disney Springs, but nothing in the information released so far by Disney states this is an official or Disney-operated Marvel store, but that doesn’t mean that it won’t be.
Marvel merchandise can currently be found at D-Street on the West Side, but we are expecting all of the merchandise to be either removed or moved to the new store if it is in-fact Disney owned.
