And the Sailing Ship Columbia will be closed from May 12th to the 15th, & then from May 19th to the 21st. That also means that Fantasmic wont be performed on those days.

According to MousePlanet:
This weekend may have marked the final performances of the Aladdin and Jasmine Storytale Adventure (Aladdin’s Oasis) at Disneyland. The attraction is not listed in the entertainment guides published for the rest of the summer on the Disneyland.com Web site, and there have been persistent rumors that the small outdoor theater venue will be re-purposed to host an Indiana Jones show or meet-and-greet.
Here’s a few images from this week’s Monday in the Parks article on MiceAge:

The Sunshine Plaza fountain has gotten further in it’s refurbishment. It’s planned to be ready for the summer
I also wanted to note that the Innoventions Dream Home, which was originally supposed to open this month, has been pushed back due to construction issues. The open date is “To Be Determined”.
Let’s take a look at some various things going on through-out the Disneyland Resort from this week’s Dateline Disneyland on MiceAge:

From the OC Register:
There is still no opening date for the Monorail Red train.
Because there was such high reader interest last week about when the new train is opening, we want to keep you updated with the latest information.
Disney Spokesman John McClintock said today that the Disney is still testing and adjusting the Monorail. He said that no date has been set for the Monorail’s public launch. We’ll continue updating information on this blog about when the Monorail will open to the public.
Not sure how old this is, but a Build Your Own Lightsaber stand has been added into Star Traders in Tomorrowland. Basically, it’s a Build-A-Bear type building station, but in this case, you get to make your own Lightsaber. Different Star Wars character’s Lightsaber’s are available to mix & match, a really cool concept! Also at the top of the stand, there are a couple of screens showing various Lightsaber involved battles from the 6 Star Wars movies. The price for this great collectible is $20!

Video has surfaced of the new Prince Caspian Pre-Parade to Walt Disney’s Parade of Dreams. You can check it out on YouTube!
According to MousePlanet, 2 more of the Disneyland Dream Time events will be held at Disneyland Park this week. The first is today (April 28th), & there will also be one held on Thursday, May 1st. For those of you who don’t know what this event is, well… It’s an after hour event that gets awarded to somewhere between 2,000 & 3,000 people. If you win, you’ll get to spend a whole hour in the designated park, after regular closing time, & the goal is to ride as many rides as possible, with little to no wait!
According to MiceAge:
Daytime testing of Disneyland’s new Monorail Red is off until later this week at the earliest. The suspension issues aren’t that big an issue, but visitors were complaining as they were waiting for the lone operating train to come back, while a shiny new one zipped by unused. CM’s tried to explain, but hotel guests in particular were still unhappy they couldn’t ride on what looked to be a perfectly good train. In light of concerns and short tempers at both stations, and some complaints at the hotel’s front desks, daytime testing is off until they are certain they are only days away from getting the new train signed off.
