This week, we discuss the “partners” statue, more details on Toy Story Mania, and the possibility of a revamped Beastly Kingdom at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Adam Roth finally returns this week to present Expedition Everoth, a look into the hottest happening around the Orlando theme parks. This week, Adam tells us about some character changes and the 2008 Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot.

We then have a WDWCelebrations (www.wdwcelebrations.com) update, as Jason Diffendal and Adam Roth fill us in on the group’s next two events, “A Wild Decade” and “World Wide Weekend”.

-This week’s edition of the WDW News Today podcast is going to feature discussion on many Walt Disney World happenings and rumors, as well as many special segments. Joining me in our time travels this week are Jason Diffendal, Justin Heyman and John Corigliano as we take a interstellar journey through the Flight to the Moon, Mission to Mars, Alien Encounter, and Stitch’s Great Escape attractions.

To end this weeks show, I have an interview with Disney Dream Job CMO finalist Patrick Hurd to discuss his entry video, how he created it, and his love for all things Disneyland. While this interview is very lengthy, I think it provides us with a great story you can not learn in a one minute long video.

WDW News Today Podcast Updates

WDWNT on March 3, 2008

Due to some technical difficulties, we have had to delay the release this week’s edition of the WDW News Today Podcast until early tomorrow morning. We also regret to say that there will not be an enhanced version of episode 32. The reasons for these changes are mostly  we are preparing for the release of two new podcasts to our News Today family, The Disney Pincast and WDW HD.

-The Disney Pincast will be an extension of the weekly pin trading segments we have tested for a few weeks on the WDWNT podcast. This show will expand on the concept to include Disney pin trading news and information from around the globe. The Disney Pincast will debut on March 12, 2008 and will be released weekly on Wednesdays starting on that date.

-WDW HD will provide high definition videos of the Walt Disney World Resort. We are hoping to release this new venture sometime around the end of this month.

We thank you for your continuing support and viewership of our site and podcasts and hope that we will make up for this week’s shortcomings with our upcoming expansion.

We start off Episode #2 with our weekly Disneyland News and Rumors. Among the things covered this week are the California Food and Wine Weekends, the Goat in Big Thunder Mountain, more on the PIXAR Play Parade, and much more! I tried doing the news by myself this week, so I could test if it works better with just me, or with guests. What do you think?

Each week, we’ll be sharing with you a piece of live-in-park audio from the Disneyland Resort. This week, a lesser known attraction inside Disney’s California Adventure, Animation Academy. In Animation Academy, you can learn to be a Disney animator, and draw a random Disney character. On the show this week, we learn how to draw Daisy Duck!

Finally, joining me for this week’s discussion are Tom Corless, Jason Diffendal, Nick McLamb, Jose Castillo, John Corigliano, and Sparky LD. We go around the table asking each participant what their favorite & least favorite Disneyland Mountains are! And sorry ahead of time for the background noise in this segment!
