radio_show_post_logoThis week, on WDWNT: The Radio show, we celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Walt Disney World with a new game called Timeline Trivia. We have 43 trivia questions, one related to each year WDW has been in existence. The premise is simple, as long as you keep answering questions correctly, you keep playing. At the end of the night, the caller who correctly answered the most questions wins the grand prize from Theme Park Connection. Everyone who answers at least 1 question correctly, gets a prize.

Listen in and share your memories of 43 years of Walt Disney World. We will also talk about farewell performances of the Epcot entertainment, the closing of the Studios Backlot Tour and of course, Frozen.

Tonight on WDWNT: The Radio Show we say “let it go” to extinct Walt Disney World attractions that we’re glad are history . We’ll be talking about the possibility of a Frozen attraction replacing the cult hit Maelstrom in the Norway pavilion at Epcot, discussing the pros and cons of the move as well as compile our “Not Top 10″of 10 attractions we are glad no longer exist at Walt Disney World. Tom and Nick will lead the discussion with a variety of WDWNT staff members weighing in on the topic as well. Tonight on WDWNT: The Radio Show we introduce a brand new game called Haunted Mansion Ghost Catching Adventure. It is a choose your own adventure type trivia game where you take part in a story involving the Haunted Mansion and must answer questions to capture ghosts.

As always, we will be giving out some great prizes from Theme Park Connection. All contestants who play, win a prize, but the one with the most ghosts at the end of the night wins the grand prize!

As we announced back on our 6th anniversary in July, WDW News Today is about to make waves (radio waves that is) with a brand new show! Starting on Saturday, August 24th, you can catch an entirely new 60-minute program from WDWNT on AM 1520 WBZW in Orlando every Saturday. This show will combine popular elements from several past and present WDWNT programs including news, games, comedy, and interactive discussions, but will also include some new concepts we’ve never tried before.

Hosted by Tom Corless and Nick LoCicero, WDW News Today: The Radio debuts Saturday August 24th, 2013 at 7PM EST. If you are in the Orlando area, you can tune in to AM 1520 WBZO at showtime. For those outside the Orlando area, the station can be heard at www.1520wbzw.com via computer or mobile device. At show time, you can call in to take part in the action at (407) 774-8255.
