New Characters to Join Disney Infinity 2.0 Lineup
After soliciting fan input over the past year, Disney Interactive has announced the addition of the top two requested characters to the upcoming Disney Infinity 2.0 lineup of Merida, Maleficient, the Marvel Superheroes and others: Tinker Bell and Stitch!
Stitch, The lovable “experiment 626″ from the popular Lilo & Stitch films, comes to the Disney Infinity Toy Box 2.0 along with his trusty cosmic blaster and the ability to super jump to galactic new heights.
One of Disney’s most iconic characters, Tinker Bell also enters the world of Disney Infinity with her magical healing Pixie Dust and the ability to glide to the stratosphere for fast-flying action.
Players will be able to create all-new adventures featuring the entire collection of characters from across the Disney Infinity universe, along with hundreds of Disney and Marvel-themed items, locations, props and vehicles.
To start your adventure with Stitch and Tinker Bell, pick up Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition) when it hits stores this fall.

Disney Infinity launched yesterday on all major consoles allowing games to connect to a number of Disney universes and even create your own using the Toy Box Mode. Except, there was a problem. Gamers who bought Disney Infinity for the PlayStation 3 were greeted with a number of problems that prevented them from actually playing the game on launch date. The biggest problem came when Disney released a 1.01 patch for the game which locked up the network preventing users from connecting successfully to the game servers and even saving their data. The outcome for PS3 users was catastrophic. Users who would try to load up their saved data would encounter an error saying their data was corrupt. Trying to load Toy Box Mode would freeze the game up completely, at times crashing the console.
Disney Interactive has released a full list of the “Power Discs” you’ll be able to use in Disney Infinity. Power Discs are little discs you’ll be able to place under your character that will unlock special powers and unlock items in the Toybox Creative Mode.
