Coolness Cubed

People can no longer complain that we are just collecting little figures that take up shelf space… Vinylmation are now functional. Want a cool drink? Vinylmation is there. Want a yummy chocolate treat for your next Disney party? Yep, Vinylmation can help you with that now too. It was announced today that those mysterious Vinylmation Ice Cube Trays I told you about a few weeks back, will be officially released on December 3rd! Here was my first look at the Ice Cube Tray and 3″ figure that comes with it:

In the clip I released a couple days ago, Disney’s Steven Miller explained how the Ice Cube Trays were mistakenly released at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. That clip is part of a larger interview about Vinylmation we will include in Destination Vinylmation Podcast Episode 3 to be released Sunday.

Interview with Disney’s Steven Miller: Where did the Ice Cube Trays Go?

I had the chance to speak with Steven Miller, Project Manager Disney Trading, at the Festival of the Masters at WDW this past weekend. Steven is a man of many hats… he works in Disney Merchandise and heads up trading of Pins and Vinylmation as well as some of the Disney social media sites such as the Disney Vinylmation Blog and the Vinylmation Facebook page. (if you haven’t yet, go “like” that page, they will keep giving us new stuff to look at!) Steven talked about some upcoming releases, new products, price points, tins or boxes?, ice cube trays, Star Wars, a behind the scenes look at the development of a Vinylmation and much, much more! We will be releasing a new clip from the interview each day this week. The full interview with Steven will air as part of Destination Vinylmation Episode 3, to be available for download on Sunday, November 14th. Subscribe now on iTunes or listen at our website. To see some pictures of some upcoming releases from Festival of the Masters, visit the Destination Vinylmation Facebook page.

In today’s clip, Steven talks about the Vinylmation Ice Cube Trays.
Special thank you to Steven Miller and Disney.

Ice Cool!!!

Here is an up close look at the Ice Cube tray exclusive 3″ Vinylmation. It’s is like a Clear Vinylmation with a frosty look to it. And two eyes, a nose and a mouth visible on the head. I would say I can’t wait to freeze up some Vinylmation shaped ice cubes and sip a cold drink while adding him to my collection, but it’s cold at WDW today! Hot chocolate for me… just hope Ice Cube Mickey doesn’t melt.

Vinylmation Ice Cube trays?

Yep! At Disney’s Hollywood Studios I found a set of Vinylmation ice cube trays ($16.96) that come with an exclusive 3″ figure!
