I don’t know about you, but I kind of like the surprise of recent release days. Not knowing what’s to come only days before Friday, or in some cases on the day itself. Today, the 9″ Park 7 Main Street Electrical Parade LE 1500 figure was released at D-Streets and Online.
Thanks to the Online store posting, we also got a look at the reverse…
Are you all aboard this Lin Shih design? Also released both in stores and online, the 7 Adventures Ticket Book.
I was on the fence about this one… until I saw the back.
This Thomas Scott designed LE 1500 figure has great detail and a retro figure. Both have a nice $44.95 retail price! Very nice to see that. Also very nice to see, D-Tour available online…
I can tell you from the couple I purchased, these are excellent designs and look great in person.
Update: 01/28/12 Pictures of set taken at trading event. We also learned that this 6 figure set was designed by Casey Jones and is five 3″ and one Jr. Remember, it releases February 3rd for $99.95 and is LE 2000.
01/27/12 Among various announcements, Disney has sneaked in a release under the radar and onto the Events page. On February 3, a 6 figure set depicting the Tapestry of Nations Parade will release at Walt Disney World and Disneyland D-Streets. This LE 2000 set will retail for $99.95. In addition to D-Street, this set will also be on sale at select locations at Epcot including MouseGear, Disney’s Traders in World Showcase, Mission: SPACE Cargo Bay and World Traveler. No pictures have been released yet, but here is a look at what could be in the set. The parade ran through EPCOT from 1999 to 2001 and had a unity and world peace them. The parade was populated by large puppets on rotating drums.

Disney has released the information about when we will be seeing that Park 7 LE Kitchen Kabaret set.
On February 10th they will be coming to the WDW and DLR D-Streets as well as EPCOT’s MouseGears and Mission: SPACE Cargo Bay.
The set was designed by Maria Clapsis and has a limited edition number of 2000. That’s great… now for the bad news. Back at The Florida Project they said that this set would be $74.95.
We knew of a few releases today, but we also had a few surprises on the DisneyStore.com this morning (thanks Brad for the info!).
6 of the NCAA teams are for sale online for $14.95: FSU, Ohio State, Penn State, UCLA, Florida, USC. They were supposed to release online and in select park locations on 2/10. Find all the details about NCAA teams here.
Similar story here, the first wave of 8 MLB teams are for sale online. They were also not supposed to be available until next Friday. Check out MLB explained for all the details.
Now for what we knew about… Tapestry of Nations will be available at the D-Streets and select EPCOT locations.
The NFL Teams figures went up for sale online last Friday, this week they hit the stores. Check out NFL explained for details on what figures will be available where.

Today was a big release day at D-Streets and the parks. First, 9″ Park 7 Goofy River Country went on sale and a look at the back of the box showed us the four 9″ LE figures for Park 7.
The train is one of the most recognizable floats in the parade because it carries the sign of the name of the parade.
The back will be interesting. Do they take an artistic approach and paint the sign on? Or just more lights like its the rear of the train going by? As I said, we saw the other figures at The Florida Project.
Also released today was the 3″/3″ Horse and Trolley combo that celebrates a Magic Kingdom Main Street USA staple.
It is for sale behind the D-Street counter… and also at the Emporium inside MK where our friend Chris took the above picture. 9″ Urban 8 figures The Boxer, Fish Bites, 50’s Girl and Sabertooth also made their debut today.
Did you/will you add any of today’s releases to your collection?
