Ep. 077 POTC Dog Another Park Starz variant is released, as is a new 9″ mold. Disneyland’s California Adventure opens up it’s expansion and we learn all about the Color Block series. A packed show is all topped off with Adam from Disney Brit to give his take on the Disneyland Paris inspired Park 10 set. |
On November 8th, Disney will release a Mystery Collection of Vinylmation Park Starz pins. The set will contain 17 total pins. Each box contains 1 of 11 “Revealed” pins and 1 of 6 “Mystery” pins and will have a retail price of $32.95. Meaning at $16.48 a pin, they are just about as expensive as the actual figures that came in a blind tin for $18.95!
The 6 mystery pins should be: Small World Boy & Goat, and then the variants for the Bride, Yeti, Abe, Squid and Figment. Check out OnceUponAPin.com for more on these and other Disney Pins.

It is a Tower of Terror Bellhop in what appears to be the form of a Park Starz. Presumable a design for the Park Starz series 2 (no release date yet). He has a bellhop hat and is holding a suit case. I love him! How exciting is it to get a glimpse into a Future Park Starz series! The idea to go with a ghostly figure over that of a human is a great choice. I’d expect to see Series 2 this fall or winter, in the mean time take a look back at Park Starz Series 1: Explained page and Photoshoot at WDW.

Thanks to a post by @TouringPlans, we now have a look at the three Park Starz Variants. They were unveiled today at the Disney Moms Conference.
They include Copper Abe Lincoln, Gold Yeti and Figment with his yellow sweater. They are set to come out on June 29th along with a signing with artists Thomas Scott and Casey Jones at D-Street Orlando from 5p-7p.
Thomas Scott and Casey Jones will be signing on Friday, June 29 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at D-Street Orlando. As of right now, the only variant we know of is a bronze Abe Lincoln.

Ep. 076 Nemo Submarine This show focuses on all the Disneyland figures recently announced. Zoe joins us to give a west coast perspective on all of them. she also got a preview of the new Cars Land and Buena Vista Street at DCA and tells us all about it… including a ride on the new Radiator Springs Racers attraction. We also team up with Austin to review the So Tasty series and run down the Park 10 line up. |
The WDW Trading Night was full of previews as usual. Not much we haven’t seen in some form or another, but some great news including: Release Dates for Park 9, Duffy and Park Starz Variants. A ghost bride reveals herself for the first time. We got our first look at the Mascot Series. And oh ya, we learned of more Mickey’s Circus vinyls for the fall event!

Details: We were told of some Vinylmation that are not yet in the preview catalog, but will be available for the event. There will be two 9″ figures each with an LE 100. The CMs would not disclose the identity of the figures. There will also be another 3″ two pack featuring two bears. Again, the identity of the bears was not disclosed, but we can speculate based on the pins and Disney bears that we know. No Vinyls were on display, but we did get a look at 3 of the special pins:
