This year’s Star Wars: Galactic Nights event on December 16 will feature new event-exclusive merchandise. Attendees will also have first access to merchandise for the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story film, and be able to get a Star Wars makeover at a special pop-up spa.

Event-exclusive merchandise includes t-shirts, a tumbler, and a limited edition pin that commemorate the event.

Guests at Galactic Nights will also be able to purchase Solo: A Star Wars Story t-shirts, which are the first products created especially for Disney Parks for the upcoming film. Galactic Nights will be the first time the shirt is made available; it will then roll out to other parks locations starting December 17th and be available through May 25, 2018. On behalf of Star Wars: Force for Change, 25% of the retail price of the t-shirt will be donated to UNICEF USA in support of UNICEF Kid Power.

Attendees who want to look the part can visit the Senses – A Disney Spa Pop-Up Experience for a themed makeover. The pop-up spa will be set up in the Sunset Boulevard area of the park and will offer three different makeover packages that include fingernail, makeup and hair treatments inspired by Star Wars. Depending on the package, makeovers will take 30-60 minutes and will cost $80-$120 for adults and $50-$90 for children.

 width=

Digital “makeovers” are also available via exclusive Snapchat filters created specifically for the event. Eight different location-based filters will be available through the Snapchat app.

The event will hand out a special holiday ornament to attendees who have a ticket stub or proof of purchase from the opening weekend of Star Wars: The Last Jedi (dated December 14-17). The film opens Friday, December 15, but most theaters will begin showing the film on the night of December 14th. The commemorative ornaments are limited to one per guest while supplies last.

Disney has also teased one final surprise for the event – a special takeaway item when guests exit the park at the end of the event.

A preview, but quite a very small sneak peek. The latest episode of The Star Wars Show focuses mostly on Battlefront II’s voice actor T.J. Ramani, but there is a nice little preview of “Star Wars: Galactic Nights” that will be coming to Hollywood Studios for just one night on December 16th. The clip starts just before 1 minute mark on the video below.

PHOTOS: New Intergalactic Treats Available at Star Wars Galactic Nights

Star Wars fans heading to Hollywood Studios for Star Wars: Galactic Nights on Dec. 16 will find some stellar new and returning food offerings intended to appeal to both foodies and Star Wars fans alike. The chefs at Hollywood Studios have crafted gourmet treats inspired by characters, locations and scenes from the beloved franchise.

 width=
There are three new dishes debuting at the event. The Shrimp and Chorizo Skewer, generously loaded with Chorizo sausage, potato hash and shrimp, is intended as a tribute to the hearty appetite of the Wookiees (and the apparent prevalence of shellfish on Kashyyyk).

 width=
Also new this year, Tatooine Bisque is a blend of rutabaga, turnips, carrots, and parsnips inspired by the sandstorms and moisture farms of Tatooine.

 width=
And if you found the garbage chute scene in Episode IV: A New Hope appetizing, you’ll want to check out the Sweet and Crunchy Popcorn, loaded with cookies, caramel, chocolate and pecans.

 width=
Returning favorites include the popular Lightsaber Churros. Blue and red sugar coat the Light Side and Dark Side options, both offered with a Lightsaber Hilt.

 width=
Or try both in the Lightsaber Churro Sundae, with pieces of both red and blue churro served on a base of vanilla ice cream and topped with chocolate sauce.

 width=
Quench your galactic thirst with the classic Jettison Juice (non-alcoholic watermelon lemonade) served with a Death Star Glow Cube. Adults can try the Skywalker Wine Flight, featuring four wine selections – Sommità, Chardonnay, Pinor Noir Rosé, and Sommità Pinot Noir – from Skywalker Vineyards in Marin County, California.

A full list of all of the food and beverage items to be offered at the event is available on the Star Wars: Galactic Nights website. And if you just can’t decide which galactic goodies you want to try, you can choose the Galactic Tasting Sampler for $30. Select five items from up to 25 food and beverage options (including alcohol). You can also use the sampler for any Disney Dining Plan Snack-eligible items through Hollywood Studios.

VIDEO: Star Wars Takes Over Rock ‘ N’ Roller Coaster, Rogue One Joins Galactic Spectacular, Rey Appears, and More from Galactic Nights

Star Wars – Galactic Nights took over Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Friday, April 14th, 2017 during Star Wars Celebration Orlando, turning the park into a fanboy’s dream. While we are still formulating a review (as it is expected the event will return), please enjoy our videos of the various festivities:

Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster – Star Wars Edition

Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster drops Aerosmith and adds the magical musical core of John Williams in this attraction overlay. The ride portion is mostly dark except for some projections of stars, a nice upgrade over the last time this overlay was installed in December 2015 for the premiere of The Force Awakens.

Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away adds Rey

Rey from the new Star Wars trilogy joins the cast of this show for one night only.

Imperial March

Darth Vader and the stormtroopers march through Disney’s Hollywood Studios in this event exclusive offering.

Rogue One added to Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular

A Rogue One sequence replaces Both in Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular. You can see the Both version of the show below this one in case you are wondering what’s missing.

Stars in Cars Celebrity Motorcade

A celebrity motorcade welcomes the stars to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Galactic Nights Epilogue and Lanyard Reveal Moment

Right before the fireworks show, the event is recapped and the guest lanyards come to life with some Disney magic…

The Seventh Sister Reveals Her Face in Jedi Training

Just for this event, the Seventh Sister is turned into a face character in Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple.

Planetary Projections

The Chinese Theater is turned into a living canvas as tableaus of Star Wars planets come to life.

Celebrate the Saga

Alright, they can’t all be winners. Witness this strange and almost useless stage show/powerpoint presentation on the history of Star Wars.
