On Saturday, at Star Wars: Galactic Nights, the facade of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror was turned into destinations from throughout the Star Wars galaxy, thanks to projection-mapping technology. Many planets are visited during the 13 minute show, including Batuu from the upcoming Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge theme park land. Take a look at the show in its entirety:

Event-exclusive merchandise includes t-shirts, a tumbler, and a limited edition pin that commemorate the event.

On behalf of Star Wars: Force for Change, 25% of the retail price of the t-shirt will be donated to UNICEF USA in support of UNICEF Kid Power.
Attendees who want to look the part can visit the Senses – A Disney Spa Pop-Up Experience for a themed makeover. The pop-up spa will be set up in the Sunset Boulevard area of the park and will offer three different makeover packages that include fingernail, makeup and hair treatments inspired by Star Wars. Depending on the package, makeovers will take 30-60 minutes and will cost $80-$120 for adults and $50-$90 for children.

A preview, but quite a very small sneak peek. The latest episode of The Star Wars Show focuses mostly on Battlefront II’s voice actor T.J. Ramani, but there is a nice little preview of “Star Wars: Galactic Nights” that will be coming to Hollywood Studios for just one night on December 16th. The clip starts just before 1 minute mark on the video below.
Star Wars fans heading to Hollywood Studios for Star Wars: Galactic Nights on Dec. 16 will find some stellar new and returning food offerings intended to appeal to both foodies and Star Wars fans alike. The chefs at Hollywood Studios have crafted gourmet treats inspired by characters, locations and scenes from the beloved franchise.
There are three new dishes debuting at the event. The Shrimp and Chorizo Skewer, generously loaded with Chorizo sausage, potato hash and shrimp, is intended as a tribute to the hearty appetite of the Wookiees (and the apparent prevalence of shellfish on Kashyyyk).
Also new this year, Tatooine Bisque is a blend of rutabaga, turnips, carrots, and parsnips inspired by the sandstorms and moisture farms of Tatooine.
And if you found the garbage chute scene in Episode IV: A New Hope appetizing, you’ll want to check out the Sweet and Crunchy Popcorn, loaded with cookies, caramel, chocolate and pecans.
Returning favorites include the popular Lightsaber Churros. Blue and red sugar coat the Light Side and Dark Side options, both offered with a Lightsaber Hilt.
Or try both in the Lightsaber Churro Sundae, with pieces of both red and blue churro served on a base of vanilla ice cream and topped with chocolate sauce.
Quench your galactic thirst with the classic Jettison Juice (non-alcoholic watermelon lemonade) served with a Death Star Glow Cube. Adults can try the Skywalker Wine Flight, featuring four wine selections – Sommità, Chardonnay, Pinor Noir Rosé, and Sommità Pinot Noir – from Skywalker Vineyards in Marin County, California.
A full list of all of the food and beverage items to be offered at the event is available on the Star Wars: Galactic Nights website. And if you just can’t decide which galactic goodies you want to try, you can choose the Galactic Tasting Sampler for $30. Select five items from up to 25 food and beverage options (including alcohol). You can also use the sampler for any Disney Dining Plan Snack-eligible items through Hollywood Studios.

While we are still formulating a review (as it is expected the event will return), please enjoy our videos of the various festivities:
Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster – Star Wars Edition
Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster drops Aerosmith and adds the magical musical core of John Williams in this attraction overlay. Rey from the new Star Wars trilogy joins the cast of this show for one night only.
Imperial March
Darth Vader and the stormtroopers march through Disney’s Hollywood Studios in this event exclusive offering.
