In our latest photo report, the Magic Kingdom’s mountain range is getting spruced up and more and more holiday decorations are covering the park. Let’s jump right in, shall we?

Space Mountain

Scaffolding is up around Space Mountain as cosmetic changes continue in Tomorrowland.

Welcome to the Magic Kingdom

Decorating at the Magic Kingdom wasn’t quite finished in our last photo report, but every last wreath and tree is up now:

The Magic Kingdom times guide is now separated by land.

The Christmas tree on Main Street U.S.A. was installed.

The wreaths on the Main Street facades are up as well.

Christmas in Fantasyland

Belle’s village has been decorated for the season as well.

Some new Beauty and the Beast art for sale in Bonjour Village Gifts, in both giclee and print form.

Rollin’ on the Rivers of America

It can be unmercifully hot aboard the Liberty Square Riverboat during the summer months, but I often find myself aboard once the weather cools down at this time of year. Also, it offers a great view of the ongoing work on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is set to reopen on November 18th.

The questions continue as to if we will be getting the explosive finale scene already featured at Disneyland.

New nighttime lighting has been installed on the mountain as part of the ongoing refurbishment:

Facade work on the Haunted Mansion continues as well.

This and That

Guests still can’t seem to understand signage…

The Enchanted Tiki Room issue #1 is finally available in Adventureland. It is not a park exclusive cover, but it is a variant cover from the normal issues available elsewhere.

Decorations are now up on the back of Cinderella Castle.

I don’t often take artsy pictures, but Storybook Circus is so photogenic at night.

As always, the Magic Kingdom is beautiful in the evening, but it takes on a special glow during the holiday season.

The newly remodeled Uptown Jewelers is decorated for Christmas quite nicely.

The Christmas cups are now available at most counter service eateries.

GOOOOOAAAALLLLLLLLL!

Mickey Mouse Major League Soccer pins are now for sale at the parks, including Orlando’s own Orlando City team.

New limited release MagicBands for sale include Christmas and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror designs.

A seat cushion is now being sold at the parks, perfect for parade and nighttime show viewing according to the tags.

A new Little Green Men castle photo holder for sale.

Of course, Star wars couldn’t get left out…

In our latest photo report, we visit the Magic Kingdom as the Christmas holiday season kicks off early. The park is already fully decorated and new entertainment for the season has already debuted. There’s also plenty more new and exciting things happening around the park, so let’s check it all out.

Merry Christmas

November 2nd was the official start of the holiday season at Walt Disney World as the Magic Kingdom is fully decorated and several holiday offerings are now in full swing.

The Jingle Cruise poster is back under the train station. We’ll check in on that a bit later in the report.

Uptown Jewelers Reopens

Uptown Jewelers has been closed for months but reopened over the weekend. The store was completely remodeled and now seems just jewelry and bags for women.

Baked Potato Moves

The baked potato is gone from Liberty Square Market, but don’t fear. It has moved to the nearby Sleepy Hollow Refreshments.

The Jingle Cruise Returns

The Jingle Cruise is back for 2016! The annual holiday overlay began its third season at the Magic Kingdom on Wednesday. We have a video of our first ride of the season for you below:

This and That

The lighting on the Storybook Circus sign is being replaced, so it is just some flat lettering right now.

A Snowman Tote is now available as a purchase-with-purchase gift for $19.95 when you spend $25.00 or more.

Pins from Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party still linger in Big Top Souvenirs.

Elena of Avalor Meet and Greet

The Elena of Avalor meet and greet, scheduled to begin on November 24th, 2016, is already in a soft-opening phase. Elena can be found next to Cinderella at Princess Fairytale Hall at random.

Some new “it’s a small world” merchandise is now available around the resort.

Mousecellaneous

Even though the crane is gone, work continues behind Cinderella Castle.

The holiday finale of Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire debuted yesterday. You can see video of the finale below:

I got tow pieces of chicken in my Sweet and Spicy Chicken and Waffle Sandwich. This is apparently a big deal.

A large crowd showed up for the return of a Frozen Holiday Wish and the first Cinderella Castle lighting of the season.

The Castle is as beautiful as ever this year, as is Main Street U.S.A.

The Epcot Center charm bracelet is now available

The “Oz The Great and Powerful” playground fro the Flower and Garden Festival is being constructed near Imagination!

The FastPass+ queue seems to be finished at the Seas with Nemo and Friends

Yes, the cut a hole in the mural…

The Main Street Bakery is closed until May to convert to Starbucks service

Tomorrowland Terrace has breakfast for now

FastPass+ scanners uncovered at Tomorrowland Speedway

Also uncovered at the Barnstormer

The umbrellas have finally arrived for the tables in Storybook Circus

The construction walls at the Grand Floridian now sport concept art for the Villas at the Grand Floridian

The FastPass+ scanners at Toy Story Midway Mania are tinker-toys!

The exhibit area at the Magic of Disney Animation now has a poster up for Frozen

There is also a poster for Planes

A Walt Disney World charm bracelet has also been released

New magnet clips, including the Orange Bird

The kids cups at restaurants now match the light-up character they come with

Fab 5 figurines have been released, they are only $12.95 each

Construction has gone vertical on the Disney Vacation Club wing of the Grand Floridian

There are two of these posters in the tunnel now… not only is it not an attraction… but it has more posters than any others…

WDWNT Reporter Dirk Wallen visited the Walt Disney World theme parks over the last three days and has some newsworthy photos to share with us from his trip. We’ll take a look at New Fantasyland, Star Wars Weekends preparation, and more from around the Vacation Kingdom of the World, so let’s get started:

The Main Street Bakery is still behind tarps (I’m starting to think this has something to do with Starbucks moving in)

Facade work continues on the Confectionary and Chapeau

The temporary Tangled meet and greet rolls on

Work was completed on the Main Street bridge

Work on the Princess Merida meet and greet has been completed

A nearby cart has Brave merchandise

I find it hard to believe that they will sell much before the movie is released

I fully expect to get shot with arrows by smaller guests on a regular basis now…

The second Dumbo spinner is rapidly nearing completion

If I were a betting man… and I am…

I’d wager that the second spinner will be open by Memorial Day

The official opening is July, along with the interactive queue

The Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station looks nearly complete

We’re still not entirely sure if the center portion will spin at a slow speed like a roundhouse

98? An Animal Kingdom reference? We think about these things too much…

Near the construction of what we assume is a new Pooh meet and greet, a mysterious box has appeared

I had to stare at this for a while to realize what I was seeing… this is the view from the Haunted Mansion across the old Skyway site. I assume this will be addressed as construction moves forward.

I visited the Walt Disney World Resort last week covering all four of the theme parks and I have plenty of newsworthy pictures to share, so let’s take a look at what’s happening around the Vacation Kingdom:

The Rainforest Cafe sign inside Animal Kingdom is still missing

Beastly Bazaar is closed to become a character meet and greet experience this Fall

Wreck-It Ralph has taken over the display at the exit of the Magic of Disney Animation show

Vannelope is voiced by Sarah Silverman

That cake looks so real…

The game Fix-It Felix is inspired by games such as Rampage and Donkey Kong

Ralph even started as a monster just like one you would find in Rampage

Niceland is the city in the game

Hero’s Duty might end up being the darkest looking scenes in any Disney animated film ever…

While passing by on the monorail we could see that the new parking lot for the Grand Floridian DVC wing is almost complete

Moving on to the Magic Kingdom, the park is ready for Halloween

There is a new banner at the beginning of Celebrate a Dream Come True

I’m not sure when it happened, but Mickey and Minnie are in normal clothing on their float

The Junioe Jungle Boats outside of the Jungle Cruise have reportedly been closed permanently

Meanwhile, some rather drastic queue modifications have been made at Pirates of the Caribbean

There is now a point where the two queues meet

Thought this was an interesting shot as it gives you an idea of where the Mine Train will be as you walk into Fantasyland

Art of disney at Epcot recently was refurbished and is now open once again, now featuring the Castle Collection merchandise

Looks like they just cleaned up the place a bit
