PHOTOS: Haunted Mansion “Stretching Room Parasol Tightrope Girl” Dress Coming Soon to Disney Parks

The Dress Shop in the Marketplace Co-Op at Disney Springs is currently previewing a new dress from Her Universe inspired by The Haunted Mansion…

 width=

The dress is inspired by the “Parasol Tightrope Girl” who appears in one of the stretching room portraits in the classic Disney Parks attraction. She famously walks a tightrope above a vicious crocodile in one of the four portraits in the ride. This dress, as well as another Mansion design and the Mad Tea Party tea cup dress, were announced previously at Star Wars Celebration 2017 in April of this year.

 width=

 width=

The dress itself will retail for somewhere in the $190-200 range, while the cape will be sold separately at a yet to be disclosed price.

 width=

The dress is set to be released sometime in November 2017.

The mugs retail for $15.99 each and are ceramic. They are available now at various locations at the Disneyland Resort.

PHOTOS: New Mini Tea Sets Featuring Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Frozen, Peter Pan, and More Released at Disney Parks

Now on sale at both the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort, guests can find mini-tea sets themed to their favorite attractions, characters, and films for $55.00 each.

 width=

The sets come in seven (yeah, seven) styles:

  • Frozen
  • Pirates of the Caribbean
  • The Haunted Mansion
  • Snow White
  • Winnie the Pooh
  • Peter Pan
  • Mickey Mouse

 width=

 width=

 width=

My personal favorite is the Pirates of the Caribbean collection.

 width=

The Haunted Mansion set is pretty cool though…

 width=

 width=

 width=

 width=

Can I just buy the turtle from the Snow White set?

 width=

Unlike many other Disney collectibles of a fragile nature, these mini-tea sets come in boxes with plastic windows so you can see what is inside.

 width=

I’m not sure why anyone would need a miniature tea set, but these are pretty neat. Will you be purchasing any?

PHOTOS: New Haunted Mansion Furnishings Available at Disney Springs, Including Chairs and Mirrors

Hey’ who’s got a few thousand dollars to burn and loves The Haunted Mansion? Marketplace Co-Op at Disney Springs sure hopes the somebody does…

 width=

If there’s “room for one more” chair at your dinner table, the Disney Springs shop has Haunted Mansion chairs with or without armrests for sale.

 width=

The version without armrests will cost $2000 each.

 width=

The chairs are not actually in stock, but are special order items that have no discounts applicable and there are shipping charges attached.

 width=

The one with armrests will cost $4000 each. Yes, they are cool, but they do seem tiny bit overpriced. Regardless, I’m sure people will buy them because they are Haunted Mansion-related and Mansion fans never cease to amaze me.

 width=

Personally, I’d settle for this new mirror that is for sale, $250 and any discounts are applicable.

 width=

 width=

It’s pretty neat, although I would have made it with just a hitchiking ghost in the middle, just like in the attraction.

There is apparently also a new $55.00 Haunted Mansion tea set for sale, but it was sold out when we got to Marketplace Co-Op.

PHOTOS: Awesome New Haunted Mansion Items Released at Walt Disney World

Upon visiting The Magic Kingdom yesterday, we found some cool new Haunted Mansion related items for sale…

 width=

A kid’s t-shirt has some awesome new art on it featuring a TON of characters from the attraction.

 width=

We seriously need this on more than just apparel Disney.

 width=

A new glow in the dark Madame Leota t-shirt for adults is also available.

 width=

And yes, that awesome design from earlier is also on an adult-sized t-shirt (which by the way, are 2 for $40 in Memento Mori right now).

 width=

A few new open edition Haunted Mansion pins were released as well.

 width=

 width=

 width=

All of these items are available now at Memento Mori at the Magic Kingdom, several should be available elsewhere around the resort if you look hard enough (or use the Shop Disney Parks mobile app). We also expect these items to be sold at the Disneyland Resort.

PHOTOS: Awesome 3-D Haunted Mansion Phone Case Now Available at Walt Disney World

We have seen some cool iPhone cases at Disney Parks before, but this might be the coolest…

 width=

 width=

Retailing for $29.99, this case is only for the iPhone 7 and 6S models as of right now and was found at the Darkroom inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The case is modeled after Madame Leota’s tombstone at the Haunted Mansion attraction in the Magic Kingdom. While it may be a little wonky, the head is fully sculpted, making for a pretty cool replica.

What do you think? Will you be buying this?

PHOTO REPORT: Disney Springs 3/14/17 (The Edison, The Polite Pig, Hundreds of New Items, Etc.)

Our latest photo report brings us to Disney Springs to see the latest progress on some construction projects, as well as a look at hundreds of new merchandise items recently released. Let’s dive right on in…

Welcome to Disney Springs

 width=

Work continues on The Edison in The Landing area.

 width=

Regardless what is going inside, I’m already a fan of the exterior of the building.

 width=

 width=

 width=

 width=

 width=

 width=

 width=

 width=

 width=

The AMC is all decked out for the release of Beauty and the Beast this week.

 width=

There is a photo-op for guests located just outside of the Dine-In Theater area.

 width=

 width=

The Mighty Festival is taking place this week at Raglan Road in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.

 width=

Work continues on Wine Bar George, which is supposed to open this year.

 width=

 width=

A few of the trashcans around Disney Springs have started to get these big, metal icons attached to them.

 width=

Pretty nice, huh?

 width=

I love the “stained glass” Goofy’s Candy Co. sign that’s on one side of the store,. but the other entrances still have the old, ugly signs…

New Things to Buy

 width=

The Wonderful World of Memories store is now just full of 2017 merchandise.

 width=

They also have some items from when they were a scrapbooking and stationery store, but not much.

 width=

A new Woody ornament for sale at Disney Days of Christmas.

 width=

Disney theme park merchandise has also created their own MARVEL ornaments now. They are heavy and made of metal (and very nice), but $25 each.

 width=

 width=

 width=

 width=

The Belle Beauty and the Beast MagicBand 2 is now for sale all around the resort.

 width=

 width=

A Frozen Ever After opens edition logo pin was finally released.

This plastic plate ware can be found nearby at the Centerpiece store inside Marketplace Co-Op.

 width=

There is also a new Minnie Mouse collection.

 width=

Some of the Never Land collection of items has arrived here as well.

 width=

 width=

How awesome is this throw blanket?

 width=

 width=

 width=

 width=

A shot glass, to “toothpick holder”, as Disney calls them… It’s $9.99.

 width=

 width=

The lantern spotted a few pics above features the Castle on it. It retails for $29.99.

 width=

I still am in need of this Monorail toiletry bag in the TAG shop.

 width=

A pretty brilliant item for sure.

 width=

Some new Wonderground Gallery art and items for sale in the center of the store.

 width=

 width=

 width=

The Adventurer’s Club mug previewed months ago was finally released. It retails for $17.99.

 width=

For those who don’t know, this was once a club at Pleasure Island. For those who don’t know, Pleasure Island was an area of Downtown Disney with night clubs. For thoise who don’t know, Downtown Disney was what Disney Springs used to be.

 width=

A new Hollywood Tower Hotel shirt from Twenty-Eight and Main.

 width=

There is also a new Haunted Mansion-related hoodie.

 width=

 width=

The Big Thunder Mountain Railroad mug was released as well.

A few weeks old now, but there is also an Enchanted Tiki Room glass for sale.

 width=

As well as Shrunken Ned, a favorite from Disneyland.

 width=

A set of cardboard coasters can also be found, $14.99 for 24. I don’t understand buying coasters that are ruined after one use for this much money.

 width=

 width=

An awesome Wonderground Gallery Main Street Electrical Parade phone case is available at D-Tech on Demand at Marketplace Co-Op.

PhotoPass Studio

 width=

The PhotoPass Studio at Disney Springs is actively marketing the new Princess Storybooks you can have made.

PHOTOS: Haunted Mansion 45th Anniversary MagicBand 2 Released

The second in the 45th Anniversary series of MagicBand 2 bands featuring opening day attractions was released recently. This one features The Haunted Mansion and Madame Leota.

 width=

 width=

 width=

The band retails for $32.99 and is a limited edition of 2500. It is available at select locations inside the Magic Kingdom, including Memento Mori and The Emporium.

The band is also available for order online through DisneyStore.com HERE.

PHOTO REPORT: The Magic Kingdom 2/21/17 (New Hotel Roadways, The Haunted Mansion, 70’s Tomorrowland, ETC.)

Our latest photo report brings us on a short trip to the Magic Kingdom to see what’s new and exciting inside (and outside) of the world’s most visited theme park.

Road Work

 width=

While taking the monorail from Epcot to Magic Kingdom, we got a nice view of the ongoing roadwork to alter the way guests leave and enter the Magic Kingdom resort area. This will alleviate the current Magic Kingdom toll plaza, leaving it just for guests parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center. You can see the plans for the roadwork HERE.

 width=

A ton of trees on the right side of the toll plaza are cleared for a new road to take guests to Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.

 width=

 width=

 width=

 width=

 width=

 width=

 width=

 width=

 width=

To the left, more trees are being cleared just after the toll plaza, where the new flyover will be.

 width=

 width=

 width=

 width=

Monorail red was looking really rough, and its wasn’t just on the doors either. The front of the nose cone was just as marked up as this. When things look like this, it is unacceptable. This is the kind of maintenance I expect from Six Flags, not Disney.

 width=

Welcome to the Magic Kingdom

 width=

Work continues on the Main Street Railroad Station and the train remains closed.

 width=

 width=

The Haunted Mansion MagicBand 2 was released recently. For more details on it (and link to buy it), check out our post on the limited edition collectible. If you click the link to buy, WDWNT even gets a few bucks to put towards more fantastic Disney World coverage for you.

 width=

Work continues on the new covered seating areas outside of Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe.

 width=

 width=

The D-Tech on Demand kiosks inside the Tomorrowland Light and Power Co. now also have a matching Haunted Mansion 45th anniversary phone case.

 width=

There are also some new MagicBand designs inspired by the upcoming Beauty and the Beast film.

 width=

 width=

 width=

Sadly, these are still going to be printed on the old MagicBands.

Tomorrowland Gets “Revive”d

 width=

The Joffrey’s Revive coffee kiosk in Tomorrowland just got really interesting, now with a tall marquee reminiscent of those that were found in the land back in the 1970’s.

 width=

If You Had Wings, Flight to the Moon/Mission to Mars, and the Circlevision 360 theaters all had similar marquees back in the day.

 width=

 width=

 width=

 width=

This and That

 width=

Some nice flowers were planted in Town Square, perfect for the spring weather which has already descended upon Orlando.

 width=

On the way back aboard the monorail, we could see more work happening just outside of the Magic Kingdom toll plaza, along the road which leads guests away from the park. Apologies for the dirt monorail window, but it was the hand we were dealt.
