After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.

Based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941, Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, and stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Emily VanCamp and Hayley Atwell, with Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce and Samuel L. “Maleficent” explores the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain from the classic “Sleeping Beauty” and the elements of her betrayal that ultimately turn her pure heart to stone. Driven by revenge and a fierce desire to protect the moors over which she presides, Maleficent cruelly places an irrevocable curse upon the human king’s newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Aurora is caught in the middle of the seething conflict between the forest kingdom she has grown to love and the human kingdom that holds her legacy. Maleficent realizes that Aurora may hold the key to peace in the land and is forced to take drastic actions that will change both worlds forever.

The film stars Angelina Jolie as Maleficent, Sharlto Copley, Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville.

“Maleficent” is produced by Joe Roth and directed by Robert Stromberg, with AngelinaJolie, Don Hahn, Palak Patel, Matt Smith and Sarah Bradshaw serving as executive producers. Linda Woolverton wrote the screenplay. “Maleficent” opens in U.S. theaters on May 30, 2014.

Get Your First Look at Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” Trailer February 18 On “Jimmy Kimmel Live”

The world premiere of the trailer for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will be on Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC Tuesday, February 18 at 11:35p.m. Eastern Time.

The movie’s star, Chris Pratt, will help debut the premiere which will also be posted exclusively for 24 hours on on Jimmy Kimmel Live’s YouTube channel. This will be the first opportunity that Marvel fans will have to see the official trailer for the highly-anticipated film, which will be released in theaters on August 1.

Marvel Studios utilized the large viewing audience of America’s favorite sporting event this weekend to debut the world premiere of the new full-length trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier in an unprecedented cross platform partnership with Fox and Marvel.

Fox broadcaster Joe Buck introduced the special look to the Big Game spot, which directed viewers to FoxSports.com for a complete Captain America: The Winter Soldier takeover and the brand new full-length trailer. The thirty second Big Game spot included music from the National Anthem and aired surrounding the team captains introduction and the National Anthem performance.

A new trailer for Disney’s Muppets Most Wanted was released today by The Walt Disney Studios.

Disney’s Muppets Most Wanted, directed by James Bobin, follows the Muppets on a global tour, selling out some of Europe’s grand theaters in Berlin, Madrid and London. As usual, mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, and they are unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine—the World’s Number One Criminal, who happens to be a dead ringer for Kermit—and his dastardly sidekick, portrayed by Ricky Gervais. The film also stars Tina Fey and Ty Burrell.

Villains fans rejoice! The Walt Disney Studios today released a teaser trailer, several images and the poster for Disney’s Maleficent.

Disney’s most iconic villain, Maleficent from 1959’s classic Sleeping Beauty, will finally have her back story told when Disney’s Maleficent opens in theaters May 30, 2014.

Angelina Jolie stars as Maleficent, a beautiful, pure-hearted young woman, leading an idyllic life growing up in a peaceable forest kingdom, until the day when an invading army threatens the harmony of the land. Maleficent will rise to be the land’s fiercest protector, but ultimately suffers a ruthless betrayal—an act that starts the process of turning her pure heart to stone.

Bent on revenge, Maleficent faces an epic battle with the invading king’s successor and, as a result, places a curse upon his newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Maleficent realizes that Aurora holds the key to peace in the kingdom—and perhaps to Maleficent’s true happiness as well.
