VIDEO: New Realm For “Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved” Revealed

Disney Interactive and Harmonix today revealed the newest realm, The Capsule, from Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved.Featuring Elton John’s Rocket Man and Peter Gabriel’s In Your Eyes as playable song, The Capsule is set in a modular space station orbiting around Earth.

The Capsule is the first realm of  Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved to be set in space, and will introduce a new sensory experience for users that extends the vision and legacy of the original Fantasia film. At the center of The Capsule lives a lone astronaut monkey who is cut off from all forms of communication. What begins as a claustrophobic, deactivated space station, transforms into a fully-powered, living machine as players perform In Your Eyes and Rocket Man. Previously announced realms The Hollow and The Haven have taken place in forest environments.

Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved is a breakthrough musical motion video game inspired by Disney’s classic animated film Fantasia, and will be available for Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft and Kinect for Xbox 360 in fall 2014. Bears is the fifth theatrical release for Disneynature, which is the first new Disney-branded film label from The Walt Disney Studios in more than 60 years. The label was launched in April 2008 to bring the world’s top nature filmmakers together to capture a variety of wildlife subjects and stories.

Disneynature’s Bears, a new True Life Adventure, is an epic story of breathtaking scale that showcases a year in the life of a bear family as two young cubs are taught life’s most important lessons. Set against a backdrop teeming with life, their journey begins as winter comes to an end and the bears emerge from hibernation to face the bitter cold. Bears captures the fast-moving action and suspense of life in one of the planet’s last great wildernesses—Alaska!

Based on the book written by Judith Viorst and published in 1972, Disney’s Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day follows the exploits of 11-year-old Alexander (Ed Oxenbould) as he experiences the most terrible and horrible day of his young life—a day that begins with gum stuck in his hair, followed by one calamity after another. But when Alexander tells his upbeat family about the misadventures of his disastrous day, he finds little sympathy and begins to wonder if bad things only happen to him. He soon learns that he’s not alone when his mom (Jennifer Garner), dad (Steve Carell), brother (Dylan Minnette) and sister (Kerris Dorsey) all find themselves living through their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Anyone who says there is no such thing as a bad day just hasn’t had one.

Planes: Fire & Rescue is a new comedy-adventure about second chances, featuring a dynamic crew of elite firefighting aircraft devoted to protecting historic Piston Peak National Park from raging wildfire. When world famous air racer Dusty learns that his engine is damaged and he may never race again, he must shift gears and is launched into the world of aerial firefighting. Dusty joins forces with veteran fire and rescue helicopter Blade Ranger and his courageous team, including spirited super scooper Dipper, heavy-lift helicopter Windlifter, ex-military transport Cabbie and a lively bunch of brave all-terrain vehicles known as The Smokejumpers. Together, the fearless team battles a massive wildfire and Dusty learns what it takes to become a true hero.
