Disney Parks Talent casting is seeking dynamic Female Dancers, Male Comedic/Improv Actors, and Male Actors Who Sing for a new Disney Villains inspired entertainment offering at the Walt Disney World®Resort near Orlando, FL.
Seeking:
Dr. Facilier – Male, 20s – 30s, 5’11” and above. A master of magic and voodoo. Charismatic baritone with pizazz. Sings “Friends On The Other Side.”Comedic Male Actor– Inventive actor with a strong sense of comedic wit and timing. Portrays the club manager of Dr. Facilier’s Lounge. Well-polished with a bit of flair.
Female Dancers – Seeking versatile and exciting female dancers 5’2” and above. Must have excellent technique and a strong hip hop background. Acting ability a plus.
From the sounds of it, the show (or maybe dining experience) would feature a club owned by Dr. Facilier from Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. No more details have been released yet, but we will let you know more as soon as we do.
During the Rock Your Disney Side 24-hour party at the Magic Kingdom, guests were treated to some very special entertainment. The day started with the Magic Kingdom welcome show featuring some of everyone’s favorite Disney heroes and Villains:

And of course, there was the wonderful Villains pre-parade before the Main Street Electrical Parade featuring baddies such as Oogie Boogie, the Big Bad Wolf, Hades, and many more:

We told you in 2013 that the Limited Time Magic Friday the 13th “Unleash the Villains” event was a test for a possible hard-ticket event to be added to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the not-too-distant future. Well, Walt Disney World is expected to begin ticket sales for annual passholders and Disney Vacation Club members tomorrow, June 5th, for the very first “Villains Unleashed” after hours party to be held on August 23, 2014 from 8PM-1AM. Tickets will be sold to the general public starting June 9th.
Ticket prices for APs and DVC members will be $67 adult/$62 child in advance, $71 adult/$66 child day of.
No further details are available at this time as the event has not been officially announced yet. We expect the event to carry over some of the more popular offerings from Friday the 13th, 2013, which you can watch below:

We have followed Celeste’s work for a long time now, and she is debuting a brand new custom series this weekend that we wanted to take a closer look at. Celeste sent us a few words about her latest creations.
“Growing up as a kid of the 90’s I personally have always been a huge fan of The Disney Afternoon. Especially villains and creating a counterpart set was an idea I wanted to do since the release of the very first afternoon set by Disney.”
“The Villains of the Afternoon series, features some of the most iconic Disney Afternoon villains ranging from Gummi Bears to Talespin. The set includes a total of 16 figures with 1 mystery chaser. For the set I wanted to incorporate a wide cast of characters and personalities including some I thought who deserved their own vinyl. At first it was a bit difficult to choose who would be included in the set since there are so many great characters out there to choose from but ultimately I wanted a diverse set fans might enjoy.”

According to the Disney Parks Blog, Noah will soon be releasing a line of merchandise themed to Disney Villains. These new designs will appear in a variety of items including limited edition giclees on canvas, men’s apparel, women’s apparel and skate decks. The highlight for this audience is surely this custom Chernabog piece…
No word on edition size or price yet, however Noah will be on hand for a special appearance and signing October 20, from 3–6 p.m. at D Street in the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort. So we assume this is the release date. Here is a look at a few of the other products and designs.
Zoe visited Vault 28 on Saturday for the release of the new Noah Villains collection. There was plenty of artwork, special tees and even some apples for picking… beware, I think they were poisoned.
