Conner Purzycki’s 10/28-10/29/09 Photo Report
Our own Conner Purzycki was the Disneyland Resort the last two days, and he shares his photos with us in this photo report:

You can just about make out the new windows installed on the Dreams tower of the Disneyland Hotel

Construction from the other side of the tower

Conner had the calamari as his starter

And for the main course he had blackened mahi mahi

Construction on the taqueria margarita bar at Tortilla Joâs seems to be progressing nicely

Now over to Disneyland Park… The Disneyland Railroad recently re-opened from about a three week refurbishment

Mickey Mouse in his Halloween attire walking through Town Square

We’re not sure if this sign on the Horse Drawn Streetcar is new, or was never changed when Disneyland: The First 50 Magical Years was added in 2005

The Main Street Magic Shop has re-opened under the operation of Houdini’s Magic Shop, now selling their products

There are still some Disney things in the store though

The Magic Shop’s cast members are trained in the magician’s art

Most of the turrets of Sleeping Beauty Castle have already been covered in the magical Christmas snow

As of Wednesday, a couple of turrets still needed to be covered in snow

Decorations for Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee, debuting next Friday, November 7th, have already been put up on the Mark Twain Riverboat

Christmas decorations are also starting to be put up in New Orleans Square

A very rare wait time when Haunted Mansion Holiday is running!

Monstro is under tarps as Storybook Land Canal Boats and Casey Jr. Circus Train continue their refurbishments

Captain Hook at the temporary Villains meet ‘n greet near It’s a Small World

Speaking of It’s a Small World, it’s currently closed to install the annual holiday overlay

The amazing Christmas lights have been installed on the facade

“Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure” merchandise at the It’s a Small World Toy Shop

Chip ‘n Dale’s Treehouse is scheduled to re-open on Saturday, November 14th

A decent wait time for Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy

Now over to Disney’s California Adventure… Some figurines available at Off the Page

The majority of the Christmas decorations are up over at Flik’s Fun Fair

We’re still waiting for vertical construction on The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure to start

The new fountain in Paradise Park looks close to completion

Load Bhang’s Pin Traders

There’s water in the Paradise Bay lagoon!

Paradise Park looks to be coming along nicely

This structure was lowering down

A crane behind one of the parade storage buildings

They weren’t filling the lagoon with this pipe when Conner was there

Some equipment and wires in the World of Color control booth

Here are some more lagoon pictures

They were putting water into the lagoon over by Mickey’s Fun Wheel though

I wonder what this is for?

Now for some construction shots from Mickey’s Fun Wheel

The foundation has been laid for Cars Land

One of the Maliboomer towers was down

The second Jumpin’ Jellyfish tower is getting its re-paint now

Trees are now lining the construction walls in Paradise Park, a nice change from DCA in 2001

Thanks for your report Conner!
