Conner Purzycki’s 4/25/11 – 4/27/11 DLR Photo Report
I was at the Disneyland Resort the past 3 days and captured quite a bit of newsworthy photos to share. Photos include The Little Mermaid, Cars Land, Pirates 4 Premiere, and much much more…
The new DCA turnstile complex coming along
The Emporium is still undergoing a facade refurbishment
Star Tours
The new sign was installed a few weeks ago
Because Star Tours Fastpass is taking over the Buzz machines, The Astro Blaster wait time sign has been modified to just include stand-by times. (It didn’t work all 3 days I was there)
The new Star Tours Fastpass machines are themed to Gonk Droids
Star Trader is still closed while it revives its refurbishment
Work walls in Frontierland
The Mark Twain/Columbia dock was closed off…
and the Columbia was docked in a pretty strange place….
and divers in the water.
Disney is already getting ready for the big Pirates 4 premiere on May 7th
More on that later.

More bleachers were constructed when I came back to New Orleans Square
YAAY!!!!! The next day I found that work has begun on Corn Dog Castle!!!!!
In case people were worried that Splash Mountain was receiving Lap Bars here in Anaheim, here they are sitting backstage next to Indy
That night, Little Mermaid’s exterior lighting was on
The popcorn lights did have a wave effect that you can see in this picture
And finally Wednesday morning, came to check on the Pirates grandstands one last time
