Yak and Yeti Now Open
The Yak and Yeti Restaurant and Yak and Yeti Market have both opened at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park. While reservations can not be made until December 3rd for those planning to eat there from January 4th on, the restaurant and quick service dining location are now open. We will have more info and pictures on this later today.

Cinderella’s Holiday Wish
It appears that the new Cinderella’s Holiday Wish show has debuted at the Magic Kingdom already. The show has recieved excellent reviews so far and will be performing nightly at 5:45pm on the castle forcourt stage until early January 2008.

Laugh Floor Moving Up
The Laugh Floor at the Magic Kingdom has recieved a brand new pre-show. More details on the new enhancements can be seen on Micechat HERE.
Contemporary Press Release
The following is from the Orlando Sentinel, take a short read through of this interesting bit on the new dining location coming to the Contemporary Resort:
” While Walt Disney World continues rehab work on the 36-year-old Contemporary Resort, the company has also submitted paperwork to construct a new restaurant inside the hotel. Called “The Wave,” the new restaurant will be built into the north end of the Contemporary’s main tower. It will become the hotel’s third full-service restaurant. A Disney spokesman said the theme will be trendy, and The Wave will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, and will feature a bar. It should open by next spring or summer.”
ABC Rumor Update
In an update on the rumor we discussed on Halloween, Screamscape is now reporting that the new show coming to the ABC Theater in the Disney MGM Studios may not be affiliated with the Fox program American Idol. Instead, it may be a Disney Idol show featuring Disney music and Disney characters as judges for the show. Again, this is still just a rumor and it has not been made official on exactly what is coming to the theater in 2008.
Look Who We Have Our Hanes On Now
The Hanes company recently signed a deal with Disney to produce all of the clothing sold for Disney Parks. The special agreement also makes Hanes the sponsor of the Rock N’ Roller Coaster Attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and give the Hanes division, Champion, naming and sponsorship rights to Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex. The main reason for the deal is to raise clothing merchandise sales at Disney Parks.
ABC Theater Rumor
For the second day in a row, screamscape is reporting that the new show coming to the ABC Theater at the Disney MGM Studios is American Idol Live. I have heard nothing as to what is coming to the theater, so I can neither confirm nor deny this rumor. Screamscape is reporting that the show will be interactive and allow guest to compete and vote in this singing competition.We will keep you posted on this rumor as more becomes available.
Deck The Castle
Some big Christmas news coming your way on Halloween. The lights are already installed on the castle, but have not been illuminated yet.
Laugh Floor Update
The cheap looking banners in the queue of the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor at the Magic Kingdom have been replaced by some rather profesional and appealing ones. The new banners do not look like they were drawn by a child, but look more like those belonging to the rest of the resort. Some of the banners also say Tomorrowland Expo Center, giving the facility a name. Ther is even a banner telling people that the door with the light above it leads to Monstropolis. These banners finally give some unaware guests a story to follow, and really add to what I feel is a rather solid attraction.
