VIDEO: New Realm For “Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved” Revealed

Disney Interactive and Harmonix today revealed the newest realm, The Capsule, from Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved.Featuring Elton John’s Rocket Man and Peter Gabriel’s In Your Eyes as playable song, The Capsule is set in a modular space station orbiting around Earth.

The Capsule is the first realm of  Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved to be set in space, and will introduce a new sensory experience for users that extends the vision and legacy of the original Fantasia film. At the center of The Capsule lives a lone astronaut monkey who is cut off from all forms of communication. What begins as a claustrophobic, deactivated space station, transforms into a fully-powered, living machine as players perform In Your Eyes and Rocket Man. Previously announced realms The Hollow and The Haven have taken place in forest environments.

BURBANK, CA – July 13, 2015 –D23 EXPO 2015 will feature the biggest Star Wars™ and Disney video games in a special presentation in the signature 7,500-seat Hall D23 theater and in Disney Interactive’s pavilion on the show floor.

In the Hall D23 presentation on Sunday, August 16 at 11 a.m., fans won’t want to miss never-before-seen gameplay, trailers, new reveals and surprises from Disney Interactive’s most anticipated games. Among the games participating in the presentation are: Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition, Star Wars™  Battlefront™ from Electronic Arts and KINGDOM HEARTS III from Square Enix. Disney Interactive will showcase more Star Wars characters and Play Sets new to Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition and provide the entire audience with limited-edition giveaways exclusively for Hall D23. Electronic Arts will give guests an in-depth look at Star Wars Battlefront, the authentic Star Wars gaming experience coming November 17. Square Enix will also bring special guests and surprises to Hall D23 to reveal new information from KINGDOM HEARTS III.

In the Disney Interactive pavilion on the show floor, players can experience the latest and upcoming titles through hands-on demos, innovative interactive experiences and premium giveaways for all guests.

  • Players will join forces with Star Wars, Marvel, Disney and Disney•Pixar characters in Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition,the next chapter in the best-selling “hybrid toy / video game” series. Tickets for D23 EXPO 2015 are $74 for a one-day adult admission and $54 for children 3–12. Disney Interactive and Harmonix Music Systems today reveal new details about the upcoming “Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved” video game. Newly revealed details include multiplayer gameplay, an all-new realm, as well as new songs from award-winning artists, including Lorde, Nicki Minaj, David Bowie and White Stripes, and classical composer Antonin Dvorak.

The two-player multiplayer gameplay for “Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved” is played cooperatively and as part of a friendly competition, allows players to collaborate and engage with the classic hits that they love in an entirely new way. By choosing unique remix paths and discovering musical interactions to create new melodies, beats, and more, “Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved” gives players an unprecedented amount of freedom to be creative while having fun!

Disney Interactive released Seven Dwarfs: The Queen’s Return, a new mobile game Thursday, October 17, for free on Apple, Windows and Android platforms.

The debut of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs on mobile takes players back to the storybook setting of Snow White in the enchanted forest. This time, the Evil Queen has corrupted the realm and players must help the Dwarfs unite to break the curse and bring peace back to the enchanted forest.

Seven Dwarfs: The Queen’s Return features include:

  • Players venture deep into the forest to rescue Snow White and all seven Dwarfs
  • Explore new locations and discover pieces of the Dwarfs’ story
  • Craft items to restore the village and bring happiness to the forest

Disney Interactive has launched the all-new mobile game “Alice in Wonderland: A New Champion”, and not a moment too soon as Wonderland needs your help.  In this free-to-play game inspired by the 2010 live-action film, players explore the unbelieveable world of Wonderland while crafting tools and solving riddles, with the ultimate goal of taking on the role of the White Queen’s Champion in order to help Alice save Wonderland from the Red Queen and her minions.

VIDEO: Trailer & Images for “Toy Story of TERROR!” TV Special, Plus Online Game “Creepy Crawl Space”

To celebrate the launch of the new Toy Story Website, and new online game “Creepy Crawl Space”, Oh My Disney! has released images from the upcoming TV special “Toy Story of TERROR!”. In this 30 minute special, the Toy Story gang end up at a creepy roadside motel while on a roadtrip. When one of the toys goes missing, the rest of the gang end up in a scary sequence of events in their attempts to find their missing friend and keep from suffering the same fate!

And the toys will meet a new character, Combat Carl (briefly mentioned in Toy Story):

Directed by Angus MacLane and produced by Galyn Susman, the “Toy Story of TERROR!” cast will include Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, Joan Cusack as Jessie, Carl Weathers as Combat Carl, Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head, Wallace Shawn as Rex, John Ratzenberger as Hamm, Blake Clar as Slinky Dog, Jodi Benson as Barbie, and Michael Keaton as Ken, according to IMDb.

“Star Wars: Tiny Death Star” is Coming Soon to Your Intergalactic Mobile Device!

Exciting news of the Intergalactic kind! Disney Interactive, in conjunction with LucasArts and NimbleBit, has announced a new game for mobile devices, “Star Wars™: Tiny Death Star™”.

In this new interactive game, players can join Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine on a mission to build Star Wars themed locations and attract bitizen species and characters to your space station. From there, you will run your intergalactic businesses, and help to build an all-new Death Star.

This exciting new 8-bit game for android and iOS will soon be available worldwide.
