Per the Disney Store announcement:

“In the back of the store screens will be replaced with newer LED displays where guests can watch the parade stream ‘LIVE from Disney Parks’ in the afternoon, and at night a digital fireworks display will be presented just before the store closes.”

No start date has been provided for this streaming at the Disney Store.

RUMOR: The Jingle Cruise Holiday Overlay Will Not Return to Magic Kingdom, Disneyland

For whatever reason, it appears that the Jingle Cruise, the holiday overlay of the Jungle Cruise attraction at Disneyland Park and the Magic Kingdom, will not return in 2017.

Introduced in 2013, the Jingle Cruise would run from November to January at both parks. The Disneyland and Walt Disney World versions were similar concepts, but were actually quite different visually.

Disney has yet to confirm the end of the seasonal attraction, but it is not in any marketing materials for this holiday season on either coast.

VIDEO: Disney Releases Rare ‘The Dream Called EPCOT’ Promo Video From 1980

In celebration of Epcot’s 35th anniversary coming up Disney has released this hard to find promo video that used to play at Magic Kingdom in 1980.

Titled “The Dream Called EPCOT,” this video was used to offer guests a look at what they could expect when EPCOT Center opened. The video shows some behind the scenes footage of WED Enterprises during the development of EPCOT Center in the 1970s.

Disney was trying to ease guests into the idea of a new type of Disney theme park by showcasing the unique offerings that guests could look forward to in both Future World and World Showcase. The video shows construction footage, attraction models, concept art, and renderings for The Living Seas, Horizons, World of Motion, CommuniCore and Spaceship Earth. This video is also where guests got their first taste of some classic EPCOT attraction theme songs like “It’s Fun to Be Free,” “Universe of Energy” and “Listen to the Land.”

Epcot’s 35th anniversary will be this Sunday, October 1, 2017.

New Coco-Inspired Exhibit ‘Remember Me!’ Open Now at Mexico Pavilion, Epcot

A new art exhibit has opened at the Mexico pavilion in World Showcase, featuring work from some prominent Mexican and Mexican-American artists.

The new exhibit shares the culture of Día de Muertos with Epcot guests. This two-day celebration, which takes place every year on November 1st and 2nd, usually includes delicious Mexican cuisine, festivals, parades, and live music.

Art work in the gallery includes papel picado, sugar skulls, paper sculptures, and even some pre-hispanic items that showcase some earlier history of this major celebration.

Bridal Couple, the centerpiece of the exhibit, won’t arrive until next week, but when it does guests can look forward to seeing some contemporary sculptures that range from 2.5-10 feet tall.

Here is a collection of photos to show off some of what the exhibit has to offer.

No word yet as to how long this exhibit will remain, but it certainly adds more Fall-related entertainment options for those visiting Epcot.
