We also found out, a little detail omitted from Barneys website, the limited edition size is 200 each. The figures retail for $250 each and although the website says online only, they can be found in at least the Madison Ave and Beverly Hills stores.

ZoMG: Disney & Barneys Holiday Collection!!!
Let me start off this article by saying my two favorite worlds are colliding this holiday season, Disney and fashion. When I woke up this morning, I received a tweet from one of my good friends Jordan. He understands the obsessions so naturally he forwarded me this link.
I don’t think I have been THIS excited about something happening for the holiday season in a very long time. Barneys & Disney are collaborating this holiday season to launch a line “Electric Holiday”.
Beginning November 14th there will be a three-dimensional electric light show at the Barneys Madison Avenue flagship store that is inspired by the Electrical Parade. Not only will there be a light show, there will be a short film featuring, Minnie, Daisy, Cruella and Snow White turned into fabulous 5’11” super models dressed in designer clothing from brands like, Balenciaga, Lanvin and Nina Ricci.
I love how they elongated the Disney characters to turn them into super models and give them designer clothing. Daisy is my favorite from what I’ve seen so far. I love the dress and the extra large bow on her head. Her look is designed by Dolce & Gabbana.
Along with this fabulous holiday spectacular, Barneys will be selling limited edition items including, Vinylmation figures designed by Diane von Furstenberg and Paul Smith.
I love the DVF design, she look her signature lip print with a fun saying to make the first fashion forward Vinylmation. I am so excited. (The interesting thing is they appear to be 9″ figures. I am going mostly by the right arm and hand shape. – Nick)
Not only will there be Vinylmation, also included in this Holiday Collection will be, Mickey Mouse ears designed by Rag & Bone and L’Wren Scott, various toys, sweets and ornaments that will be available at select Barneys stores and online.
I cannot wait until this collection launches on November 14h. If you live in the NYC area or are visiting the Madison Ave store his holiday season, please tweet me pictures and videos! (@zoekatherine)

Have a Very Fashionable Christmas
Imagine a Christmas morning where you wake up and stumble down the hall way. Still blurry eyed, you look at the table next to the tree and notice only crumbs left on the plate where your stylized Disney character cookies had once laid. Santa must have been here! You then make it to the tree where designer Ear Hats, Vinylmation and hooded towels sit waiting to be unwrapped!
Yesterday on Madison Avenue, the eye’s of the fashion world looked upon Barney’s department store. At 9pm the switch was flipped and Electric Holiday gleamed brightly in the large window display. A wonderfully animated 5 minute video then began to play. And just like that, the Disney/Barneys joint Christmas venture was underway.
We talk about this event on this website because of the pair of Vinylmation that are now available for purchase. They are both online only and are described as limited edition, yet no edition size is given. We have already seen what they look like, however the price tag has now been revealed. Each 9″ designer Vinylmation will set you back $250… making them the most expensive (retail price) single Vinylmation so far.
With the vinyl news out of the way, let’s talk about this video! Not at all what I expected, the entertainment value exceeded expectations! I don’t even have a clue who 90% of the people in the video are, but the style of animation coupled with the Disney cameos and topped off with a beautiful score by Michael Giacchino make this a mini masterpiece. The cameos from across Disney, fashion and pop culture are incredible. Disney and or fashion fans MUST go here to watch the video! I will not spoil it all for you, but here is a peak at some of the cameos and screen shots…
In New York last night, Sarah Jessica Parker was on hand to help kick off the festivities. She joined Minnie Mouse on stage to help unveil the new collection.
Of course, there are other items for sale besides the Vinylmation. Take a look. I can’t believe the price tag on the cookies! The good news is that from November 14th – January 3rd, 25% of proceeds from the Electric Holiday collection will be donated to American Red Cross disaster relief.
Check out the entire collection at the Barneys website.
