To go with the stylish Epcot 35 Figment backpack we showed you a few days back, there is now a matching wristlet for guests to buy.

Watch out Figment, you could poke other Figment’s eye out!

 width=

There’s even wings and scales on the back of the socks…

 width=

A pair will cost you $13.99.

 width=

The wristlet is faux leather, just like the backpack.

It also features the metal Epcot 35 emblem.

The price is a little steep at $50.00.

Will you be picking up either of these new Figment items on your next trip to Epcot?

New SpectacuLAB Show Coming to Future World at Epcot Next Month

A new piece of entertainment is coming to Future World in Epcot next month, currently titled “SpectacuLAB”.

 width=

In August, the Disney Auditions website was seeking comedic actors for a new show, to portray wide-eyed and naïve “scientific interns”. This is undoubtedly related to this new show at Epcot.

SpectacuLAB is set to debut November 11th, 2017 in Future World, somewhere around Innoventions (perhaps the Fountain Stage), but no further details are available at this time.

Entertainment is Future World has been sparse over the last 10-15 years, since the acts that used to perform exclusively on this side of the park were done away with some time ago.

Long Delayed Choza de Margarita to Open Soon at Mexico Pavilion in Epcot

Disney confirmed today that the long-delayed Choza de Margarita counter service location will be opening soon. Originally slated to open in early 2017, Disney officially said that “walls would be coming down shortly”. Located outside of the Mexico Pavilion in Epcot, this walk-up window will feature “authentic Mexican beverages and street fare”.

The beverage menu will feature three kinds of hand-crafted margaritas, frozen margaritas, and Mexican beer. In addition to the 9 alcoholic beverage options, there will be a non-alcoholic fruit punch made with orange, pineapple, and grapefruit juices and grenadine.

 width=

The street fare options will include Tacos al Pastor with grilled pork on fresh homemade corn tortillas with green tomatillo sauce, onion, pineapple and cilantro; Empanadas de Barbacoa with beef, topped with chipotle sauce, Mexican cream, and queso fresco; and fresh guacamole with mango chutney, pumpkin and pomegranate seeds, served with fried flour chicharrones and salsa Valentina, an authentic Mexican hot sauce.

 width=

The hand-crafted, on-the-rocks varieties include Acan Grapefruit (Casa Noble Blanco Tequila, grapefruit liqueur, elderflower cordial, lemon juice, cardamom bitters and ginger beer), Lime Cucumber (Avión Blanco Tequila, fresh cucumber, orange liqueur, lime juice and agave nectar), and Guava Pink Peppercorn (Zignum Mexcal Reposado, guava nectar, grapefruit liqueur, lime juice, Peychaud’s Bitters and pink peppercorns).

 width=

On a hot Florida day, take your pick from one of the three frozen margaritas: Lime (tequila blanco, lime sweet & sour, orange liquor and agave nectar), Wild Strawberry (tequila blanco, strawberry and prickly pear puree, violet flower liquor and lime juice), or Passion Mango (tequila blanco, orange liqueur, wild passion fruit and mango puree).

 width=

No official opening date was given, but the location should open before the holiday season begins at the parks.

I’m not sure that “Always Exciting” is how I would describe New Jersey… 😉

PHOTOS: Epcot Releases Massive “American Adventure” Character Merchandise Line Representing All 50 States

Disney has embarked on one of their most ambitious merchandise lines in recent memory, a collection celebrating all 50 of the United States of America. The collection is being sold at Epcot and is branded to The American Adventure pavilion, taking over pretty much the entirety of the Heritage Manor Gifts shop next door to the pavilion’s attraction.

 width=

This awesome map picture is available for $21.95 and showcases all of the character artwork that will be used in the collection. I’m kind of partial to it since it uses Sam Eagle from America Sings at the top…

 width=

If you’re wondering why it seems to use the same base characters over and over, I think they were going for a vintage style, something that would have been sold by the company 30-40 years ago. Also, it might make more sense to have characters everyone knows represent each state, rather than try to do over 50 different characters across the country.

 width=

 width=

The strangest part is that the Florida and California items in the line were released at the D23 Expo this year with zero explanation that they would one part of a larger collection. The Florida items take center stage here, it being Florida and all. Assorted items related to 20 states are available now at Heritage Manor Gifts, but all of the items from all 50 states will be available through the Shop Disney Parks mobile app starting in November 2017.

 width=

 width=

The state signs retail for $31.99 each.

 width=

The metal license plate magnets are $11.99 each.

 width=

The line also includes shirts, hats, and mason jars for each state. The lady’s shirts are $29.99, men’s are $27.99, baseball caps are $24.99, and the mason jars are $13.99 each.

There are some items labeled simply for The American Adventure, not picking a particular state as a subject.

The logo featuring Spaceship Earth behind the American Adventure is pretty spiffy.

 width=

I’m somewhat impressed that all of the hats are very different in styling, not just all with a different logo icon slapped on them. A lot of care went into all of these items.

On the heels of the successful rollout at many other restaurants, Walt Disney World will expand the Mobile Order program through the MyDisneyExperience app to Sunshine Seasons inside of The Land pavilion at Epcot starting October 10th.

 width=

The mobile ordering program allows guests to order at Disney counter service restaurants from their mobile devices and then pick-up the order when they are ready to eat. Check out our comprehensive review of the service to see how it works.
