RoE: Toy Story Series 2

A much anticipated Toy Story Series 2, designed by Maria Clapsis and Ron Cohee, will be released in 2014!!! I can’t wait. All they left us with was an image of Buzz Lightyear as Mrs. Nesbitt…

I can’t wait!!!

Evil Queen Daisy is a Reflections Surprise

It seems like there may be an LE 1000 Evil Queen Daisy 3″ figure released exclusively at the Reflections of Evil trade event for $16.95.

It was not on the RSP but should be available in the set up shop inside the event just like the Popcorn’s Dumbo variant was last fall. I hope there are more characters. Ron Cohee, best character artist the Vinylmation team has, nailed this. I NEED more. THIS is what I thought this event would have. Please bring more to the table, designed by Ron, and I will change my tone about the selection at this event.

Haunted Mansion Stretching Room Combo Turnaround Photos

The Park Limited Edition combo sets are really impressing me. I can not wait for the Tower of Terror blind box set or this, the Haunted Mansion Stretching Room four 3″ figure combo pack.

This set was designed by Ron Cohee and will be released on December 20th at both D-Streets and Online. The price is $59.95 for an LE size 2,000 combo.

Oz Figures Shown

Today Disney put up the details of the Oz figures. First off, they are designed by Ron Cohee (one of Nick’s Top Things of 2012). Second they will be released as two pack sets on March 8, 2013 and each set will cost $24.95. Each set will contain a 3″ and a Jr Vinylmation. The sets are
Wicked Witch and Baboon, Oscar Diggs and Finleyl, Glinda and China Girl, Evanora and Knuck. We first saw some of the these figures at Mickey’s Circus. What do you think of them now? (Picture not to scale, I wanted to show more detail on the Juniors.)

Ron Cohee The Great and Powerful

On March 8th, the Oz: The Great and Powerful Vinylmation sets will be released at both D-Streets and online. What better way to celebrate then to have the artist of the series, Ron Cohee, sign them! He will be at D-Street Orlando from 5-7 on March 8th.

Artist signings are always a great chance to meet and briefly chat with your favorite artists. We have always enjoyed our time at these events, so you should check them out. Even if you aren’t getting a piece signed it is nice to wish the artist thanks for all the joy they bring to us.

Mickey’s Circus- Movie Based Vinylmation

Disney announced that they will make a better effort putting out the Vinylmation when the movie hits the theaters from now on.

There will be four total 3″/Jr. LE Combo sets released around the March 2013 launch of Oz The Great and Powerful. They are all designed by Ron Cohee.

3″ Oz with Jr. Monkey LE Combo Set

3″ Glinda with Jr. China Doll Combo Set

Celebrating The Lone Ranger on the silver screen in the Summer of 2013 will be this 3″ LE Combo pack featuring Tonto and The Lone Ranger. They are designed by Eric Caszatt who took great care to give us an accessory crow on Tonto’s head instead of just painting it on.

The release of Pixar’s Monsters University movie in June will have it’s own 12 figure blind box series dedicated to it.

Mike and Sully, all ready for college, were shown off at Mickey’s Circus. Then we got to see the shining example of NOT being released with the movie hitting theaters… or Blu-Ray… POTC On Stranger Tides.
