A New Thing to Trade!
It was teased at Trade City this year, and now it’s come true!
Now at the Florida D- Street store there is a clear box where you can trade Vinylmation Jrs!
We were at the Festival of the Masters today and we will soon be posting more photos and a new Podcast about our visit, but we couldn’t wait to announce this new fun feature to you. So far it’s only been seen at the D-street story in Downtown Disney, but hopefully it will be expanding soon. One note: trading is the same as 3″ clear box trading, the only caveat is that your Vinylmation Jr need to have the metal keyring-ish clip on top. I’d you got one from the Sports or Oh! Mickey collections that doesn’t have that feature, you can not trade.
Look back here later tonight for more photos.
Keep collecting!
Destination Vinylmation Ep. 001 Bad Apple
It’s our first podcast and we jump right in with News and Release Dates, mention our opinion of some newly released sets like the New York Exclusives and the incredibly cool Ice Tray, then follow up with a heavy hitter, our full review of Urban 5, released just days ago! It’s even spoiler free for those who choose not to listen after the end.

The rest of the band!
Well okay, maybe not the rest of the band, but today Disney’s Vinylmation Blog posted some new photos of upcoming Vinylmations. As I asked for last week when they announced Sam the Eagle (I’m going to just assume they read this blog); Disney has shown us another member of the Electric Mayhem- Janice from the Muppets Two collection. (Now if they would just release Animal, Dr. Teeth, Floyd and Zoot!)
They also revealed a Mushroom and Caterpillar from Cutesters Too, and Donald Duck from the Nerds Rock collection. I’m glad Cutesters Too won’t all be the Kids in Costumes, like we saw at Trade City. I think I perfer not having people, who aren’t specific characters, on vinylmation and just using the body as a canvas for artwork.
Also shown were a Walt Disney World 40th Anniversary piece, as well as a 9″ showing the Matterhorn for some unannounced series that they stress is way in the “future”.

Also of note: These photos were released to thank the community for their following of the new Disney Vinylmation Facebook page at facebook.com/Vinylmation. If you have Facebook you should follow them so they can reward us further.
