Via Napoli at Epcot Adds New Menu Items In Celebration of Serving 1 Millionth Pizza

unspecified

Via Napoli at Epcot recently celebrated the serving of their 1 millionth pizza pie since the restaurant opened back in 2010. In celebration, the menu has undergone a minor shakeup, including the addition of some new signature pizza pies.

IMG_6098

They’re even offering a limited time pasta special – Truffled fettuccine carbonara with guanciale “italian Bacon” egg noodle and pecorino cheese.

IMG_6094

New Pizzas include Affumicata – White pizza, smoked salmon, arugula, pomodorini, and stracchino, as well as a Broccolini pie which includes fresh cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, porchetta robiola, and broccoli rabe.

These additions to the menu do not detract any offerings that have made the restaurant a hit at Epcot over the last 6 years, meaning guests have more than ever to choose between. MAybe you can even leave some room for dessert…

PHOTOS: First Look Inside of New “Frozen Ever After” Ride Coming to Epcot at Walt Disney World

Today, we have a bit of an exclusive to share with you. Frozen Ever After is one of the most anticipated new attractions coming to Walt Disney World, but we haven’t seen much of what this ride will actually look like outside of some concept art. Well, that is about to change:

Frozen1

Above we see our very first look at what the scene where the boat plunges down a drop will now look like (you may remember this portion from the Maelstrom attraction). An audio animatronic Marshmallow and some projected Snowgies look on as the guest’s boat switches directions and heads down a waterfall.

Troll

Our second picture is of a Troll figure in one of the early scenes of the attraction. As you can see, these figures will have projected faces just like the Dwarfs in the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride at the Magic Kingdom.

Keep in mind that the photos above are of the attraction under construction and are not what the absolute finished product will look like. Also, our apologies for the quality of the photos, but they were obviously taken by a cell phone camera by someone inside of the active construction zone.

Pretty cool, huh? Our source says the attraction might be a little behind schedule, but Disney is still claiming that the Frozen ride at Epcot will open in June.

Finding Dory Characters Get Added to Turtle Talk at Epcot in Early May

Starting in early May, guests visiting Epcot will be able to spot Dory and some of her friends from the new film “Finding Dory” at the park’s “Turtle Talk With Crush” attraction.

ieurq394

Some of her new pals you can expect to spot within the attraction include Destiny the whale shark, Bailey the beluga whale and Hank the “septopus” (that’s a seven-legged octopus). Crush’s son and best pal Squirt will also be swimming by for the first time, as well you may spot Nemo and his dad Marlin.

“Finding Dory” swims into theaters on June 17, 2016.

PHOTO REPORT: Epcot 4/21/16 (DVC Lounge, Finding Dory, Ample Hills Creamery, ETC.)
