Noah has been announced as the WonderGround Gallery’s Artist in Residence for December. The WonderGround Gallery is located at the Downtown Disney District in Anaheim. Every Friday and Saturday night (excluding December 1) throughout the month, Noah will be meeting with guests, doing live performance art and debuting some of his newest works. Some of those works include Jack and Sally from the Nightmare Before Christmas.
There will be a variety of merchandise including original artwork, limited edition giclees, deluxe prints and twenty-four custom Vinylmation figures.
Each figure comes complete with a coffin stand. Limit 1 per Guest. Noah will be on hand for a special appearance from 9am to 12 noon on the day of the release.
Please note: WonderGround Gallery will open at 8am on December 1. Wristband guidelines apply.
Wristband Distribution Guidelines:
Wristbands will be distributed entitling bearers to the opportunity to purchase Vinylmation released in association with this product release and signing. Wristbands for the custom Vinylmation will be distributed near Rainforest Cafe in the Downtown Disney District at 7:00 A.M.
We kindly ask that Guests do not line up for wristband distribution prior to 6:00 A.M. Queued Guests will be escorted to D-Street. D Street opens at 8:00 A.M. unless otherwise specified.
In addition, holding a place in line for others in your party will not be allowed. Guests who wish to obtain a wristband to purchase a custom Vinylmation must be present when the line forms or they will be escorted to the back of the line.
Wristbands will be valid for the purchase of the custom Vinylmation at D-Street in the Downtown Disney District until 1:00 P.M. on the day of distribution. Wristbands are limited. At 1:00 P.M. wristbands are no longer valid. Lost, stolen or damaged wristbands will not be replaced. Wristbands have no cash value. Restrictions apply. Subject to change without notice.
Artist Miss Mindy will also make an appearance on December 1 from 1pm-4pm for the release of her new 3D sculptures, and Mama’s Little Babies.
Also, artist Cheri Lewis will be at the gallery on December 29-30 from 1pm-4pm each day.
The 2012 Festival of the Masters takes place November 9-11 at WDW’s Downtown Disney. Once again, Noah will be among the artists with work on display and for sale. That collection of work will include some custom Vinylmation.
Noah calls his latest creation “Crash Test Dummy.” As you can see, it comes on a custom road sign base. There will be twelve 9″ versions available for $650 each and twelve 3″ versions for $150 each.
According to his blog, artist NOAH will be at several events in Florida in the upcoming weeks.
On September 23rd he will be boarding the Disney Cruise Line to sign his painting “Life with You is a Dream” as well as painting other pieces. Among the artwork will be six special 9″ Vinylmation figures (no pictures yet).
Then on September 28th – 30th Noah will be inside the The Food and Wine Festival Center (former Wonders of Life Pavillion) signing his EPCOT 30th anniversary piece “The 21st Century Begins”. This special event will have its own Vinylmation. There will be ten 9″ and ten 3″ figures (artwork not seen yet).

2012 DeeVee Awards
The 2nd annual Destination Vinylmation Dee Vee Awards honors this year’s best Vinylmation and Artists. Today, June 9, is the opening of the Wonderground Gallery at Downtown Disney California. It is an art gallery full of amazing paintings and various collectibles and will be the showcase for the new Vinylmation 95.
Noah and a few other artists will be the first to present their customs to the public for purchase, then a Create Your Own will go on sale on June 15 at D-Streets.

If you would like to get a custom Vinylmation 95 at the Wondergallery, Disney has posted the following information:
“Guests may line up for the Grand Opening of the WonderGround Gallery on June 9, 2012 behind the Rainforest Cafe. In addition, beginning at 7am, wristbands will be distributed for the Vinylmation™ 95 releases in conjunction with the WonderGround Gallery Grand Opening. We ask that you please not line up prior to 6am. Wristbands are limited. Limits will apply. Merchandise not guaranteed. All information subject to change without notice.”
In addition to the Lightning mold customs, the Disney Vinylmation Blog gave us all a peak at a Mickey mold custom designed by Miss Mindy that will be available.

In an interesting twist, a new 9″ Vinylmation shape has been announced, but not on Disney’s official Vinylmation Blog. We first saw the news on Noah’s Fine Art blog, then on the Disney Parks Blog. The mold will be in the shape of Lightning McQueen and is called “Vinylmation 95.”
At first I thought this might just be a custom deal, but all wordage points to this being a new Vinylmation platform for Disney artists to create new designs on in addition to the Mickey mold. Here is a quote right out of the Disney Parks Blog:
“One of the things I’m most excited to share with you is the debut of the new Vinylmation 95 platform! Guaranteed to get your motor racing, this new 9” form is shaped like the one and only Lightning McQueen and pays tribute to his signature number, 95.”
Update 5/30/12 Disney Artist Eric Caszatt tweeted us, in fact confirming this new mold will be used by other artists for more designs.
The new Vinylmation will officially be unveiled to the public on June 9th at the grand opening of WonderGround, a new art store at the Downtown Disney District in California. As part of the event, the artist Noah, will debut a limited edition design on this Lightning McQueen Vinylmation 95 platform. That same day, Noah will be holding a Vinylmation Signing from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. He is also scheduled to be on hand every Friday and Saturday night throughout the month of June, from 5–9 p.m.
What else can you expect to find in WonderGround Gallery? Not only will you find original artwork on the walls, but you can actually find some of this featured art on an array of items, including limited-edition giclées, deluxe prints, t-shirts, mugs, magnets and more. In addition, look for art-inspired home and lifestyle products, including books, journals, note cards, picture frames, novelty pens, stencils, vases, paperweights and art figures, among other items. Noah’s customs will be the first designs on this new 9″ Vinylmation platform, but others are sure to follow. Will we see a few non-customs released in conjunction with the June 15th Carsland opening? Cars is sure getting special treatment in the world of Vinylmation. This film series was the first to get designs on the Monorail mold and now this. However, just like the monorail, I do appreciate the unique and Disney themed mold and am excited to see some very creative designs. And like the monorails, I don’t know what the future holds, but I do know the creativity coming out of the Disney Design Group will continue to push the boundaries and expand way past what we imagine. It is very hard to judge this without seeing the initial Disney designs, but I do know this opens a door to whole slew of new possibilities. How about you?
